Kelan Brown Kelan Brown 6'0" | 185 lbs | QB Refugio | 2025 State TX , QB, 2025, Refugio
Brown is a state champion who clearly knows how to win. He can make some nice throws. He knows how to fit the football into tight places. Brown also has good movement when he is in the pocket. His deep ball is very exceptional. Brown can also run the read option. I loved watching his film. He is going to start seeing his stock rise soon. He has some mechanics to work on, but I’m a big fan.
Tatum Evans, Grapevine, DE/OLB, 2026
Here is a prospect that I heard about through the grapevine. No pun intended. This young man has a lot of upside. He already has good size as just a freshman. I think that he is going to have a breakout season as a sophomore. Evans knows how to be a big playmaker. He showed great selflessness last year when he did a great job for his special teams unit. He even managed to squeeze a sack in. Evans is a guy to keep up with.
Jalen Charles Jalen Charles 6'4" | 210 lbs | DL Manvel | 2024 State TX , DE, 2024, Manvel
Charles gets it done from the edge. He has fighting hands that stay active. He uses his long arms to keep offensive linemen away from his body. Charles has seen is stock rise. He recently picked up an offer from Air Force and West Point. He also is receiving interest from power five teams on the West Coast. Charles has a big frame and knows how to use it. I would love to see his release become faster. Remember his name.
Caleb Cook Caleb Cook 6'3" | 175 lbs | QB New Home | 2025 State TX , QB, New Home, 2025
Cook is a beast at the quarterback position. Last season he threw 42 touchdowns vs only nine interceptions. Cook has good size. He stands very confident in the pocket, and he can make any throw you need him to make. Cook is a pro style quarterback that knows how to be mobile when he needs to be. His spin on the football is very pure. Cooks is a guy that you are going to want to keep up with.
