For the next two articles, I am focusing on under-recruited prospects in the 2024 recruiting class. I am so excited about this article, so much talent in District 3.
Highlights
Quintin Pfautz Quintin Pfautz 6'3" | 210 lbs | LB Ephrata | 2024 State PA Ephrata. Pfautz played tight end and linebacker for Ephrata last year. He has great size for someone playing either position, standing 6’3″ tall. At the tight end, he runs good routes and catches the ball very well. He is a good blocker and excels at coming across the line to block defensive ends. On defense, Pfautz is a difference-maker. He is good at outside linebacker by setting the edge well and either making the tackle or forcing the play inside. He is also very good at coming off the edge to blitz the quarterback. As an off-the-ball linebacker he is very good at getting downfield and making tackles. Pfautz projects as someone who should have a good opportunity to play College Football next year and he is starting to get several College Football opportunities lately.
Collin Niedrowski Collin Niedrowski 6'0" | 175 lbs | LB Wyomissing Area | 2024 State PA Wyomissing Area. Niedrowski played linebacker and running back for Wyomissing Area last year. At running back Niedrowski is a good running back who hits the hole well and gets downfield. Nothing fancy, just a solid tough nosed running back. He is the same as a linebacker. Niedrowski is just a good linebacker who comes downhill and makes plays. He has very good technique and uses that to read and react to the offensive play very well. Niedrowski rarely ever misses a tackle as he makes solid contact and cleans up plenty of plays from his linebacker position. Niedrowski is an underrated player who should get plenty of College Football looks.
Highlights
Elijah Cunningham Elijah Cunningham 5'10" | 200 lbs | RB Lancaster Catholic | 2024 State PA Lancaster Catholic. Cunningham is not ranked on Prep Redzone’s ranking, but he is a legit prospect. Cunningham has legit track speed. If he gets in the open field he is gone to the end zone. His speed is legit. Cunningham also is very good at making cuts and making people miss in the hole. Several times on film he will cut and leave defenders just watching. He also is a physical running back who runs through contact. He runs with a physical style that punishes the defense. On several plays, he broke 3 or 4 tackles for big rushing gains. Cunningham with his speed, and athleticism is a very good prospect. He should have a good chance to play College Football.
Highlights
Jaceb Dickerson Jaceb Dickerson 6'2" | 255 lbs | DL Gettysburg Area | 2024 State PA Gettysburg Area. Dickerson played defensive line last year for Gettysburg. Dickerson is a legit prospect at the defensive line position. He has a great burst off the ball. He is very good at timing the snap and attacking offensive linemen. He uses has great technique, which starts with his stance. He uses his hands very well. He always gets hands-on offensive linemen trying to block him. Dickerson also has a great motor. He is constantly hustling and chasing down plays. He never quits on the play Dickerson is a very good prospect that is starting to get several looks from College Football programs.
Highlights
Angel Roberts Angel Roberts 6'1" | 180 lbs | WR Milton Hershey | 2024 State PA Milton Hershey. Roberts played wide receiver for Milton Hershey last year and did not disappoint. Roberts has very good size and uses his body well to shield defenders to make catches. He is also very good on deep balls. When the ball is in the air he attacks it and makes plays. He is very good at catching fade balls in tight coverage. Roberts also excels at the yard after the catch. You can throw him a pass and he is dynamic with the ball in his hands. He has good speed and makes people miss in the open field. Roberts also runs good routes, several times in I film I saw him run routes where the defenders did not know where he was going. Roberts has a ton of talent and with a strong Senior year, he should only improve his chances to play College Football.
Highlights
Caleb Wray Caleb Wray 6'3" | 180 lbs | QB Trinity | 2024 State PA Trinity. Wray played quarterback for Trinity last year. Wray has a good size for the position standing 6’3″. He is a classic pocket quarterback in that he prefers to play in the pocket. Wray throws with good anticipation and throws the ball before the wide receivers get out of their breaks. He throws a good deep ball. His deep ball is good because he puts good touch on the ball when he throws it. Wray has good feet and moves well in the pocket. When the play breaks down he has good mobility and moves well in the pocket. Several times in the film when the play breaks down Wray uses his mobility to create plays downfield for his receivers to get open. Wray is a talented quarterback who should have a good Senior year.
Highlights
Micah Gates Micah Gates 6'0" | 155 lbs | WR Hempfield | 2024 State PA Hempfield. Gates played wide receiver for Hempfield last year. Gates is a very good route runner. As a route runner what makes it impressive is his ability to get in and out of breaks. On routes like slants, whip routes, digs, and other routes he uses subtle moves to create separation. Gates is also very good after the catch. When he catches short passes he then will break tackles to get more yards after the catch. Gates also has very good hands. He catches the ball very well for his position. Gates is a very good prospect at wide receiver.
Highlights
Amari Davis Amari Davis 5'10" | 180 lbs | DB William Penn York Pa | 2024 State PA William Penn High School, York. Davis is a good athlete who played safety and wide receiver for West York last year, then he recently transferred to William Penn High School. He also has limited film since he was hurt last year and he played limited games. Even though the film is limited it is still very good. At safety, he has good range and constantly plays the deep ball well. He has good ball skills and when the ball is in the air he makes good plays on the ball. Another strong area for Davis is his ability to come up and tackle. He is very good at coming up and making a tackle from his safety position. He uses angles well and is a sure tackler. With a strong Senior year, Davis should have a good chance at playing college football.
