The conference is loaded with Bishop McDevitt, and Steelton-Highspre both coming off winning PIAA State Championships. In addition, Harrisburg went to the 6A PIAA Title Game and lost to St. Joe’s Prep. The other big part of the Mid-Penn Conference is how deep the conference is. So many great teams and players. This is part 2.
Shawn Lee Harrisburg. Lee played quarterback for Harrisburg last year. He is a dual-threat quarterback who is equally as good as a running threat as well as a passing threat. As a running threat, he is very good at the designed run game for quarterbacks. He is also good when the play breaks down and scrambles to find open wide receivers or runs for first downs. Lee has a strong arm and really shows it off when he throws a deep ball. He also does a nice job by throwing into tight windows. Lee is a good athlete that can make a lot of plays inside and outside the pocket. Lee recently visited Temple university and should get plenty of College Football offers going forward.
Nico Mauro Nico Mauro LB Trinity Area | 2025 State PA Trinity. Mauro played linebacker for Trinity last year. He is a good linebacker who is aggressive and gets downfield very well. Mauro has the ability to shed blockers and come upfield to make the tackle. He is very strong as he is able to take on offensive linemen. He is also a sure tackler and does a nice job finishing tackles every time. Mauro is also good at dropping in coverage and reading and reacting to passing plays. Mauro also has very good technique and reads and reacts to the offensive players very well. Mauro is a talented player who should only get better.
Mason Lubold Mason Lubold 6'1" | 265 lbs | OL Susquehanna Township | 2025 State PA Susquehanna Township. Lubold played center for Susquehanna Township last year. He has very good strength and uses it well against defensive players at the point of attack. He is especially good at blocking defensive tackles on a combo block and then peeling off for the linebacker. He is quick off the ball and uses that quickness to complete reach blocks against defenders. His snaps at center position also looked good, as he is able to snap the ball in shotgun snaps very well. Lubold looks like someone who can play Guard or Center with his strength at the point of attack. I am excited to see how his film progresses going forward.
Jack Dufalla Jack Dufalla 6'3" | 200 lbs | LB Trinity Area | 2025 State PA Trinity. Dufalla played linebacker for Trinity last year. Dufalla is a really good athlete that does a nice job at the outside linebacker position. He did a very good job setting the edge. He is very good at setting the edge and forcing everything inside or making the tackle. Dufalla does a nice jobing blitzing off the edge as well. His ability to get in the backfield and create havoc is impressive. He also does a nice job creating turnovers. Finally, Dufalla does a good job dropping in coverage and making a play on the ball. Dufalla is a good prospect who should only improve.
Highlights
CJ Schramm CJ Schramm 6'1" | 260 lbs | OL Hershey | 2025 PA Hershey. Schramm played left tackle for Hershey last year. He does a nice job getting off the ball and engaging with defenders. He moves his feet well to stay in front of defenders. Especially in pass protection, he does a nice job moving his feet to stay in front of defenders. In the run game, he does a good blocking down, and reach-blocking defenders. He can also chase linebackers and does a good job driving blocking defenders when he is engaged in the block. Schramm has a lot of potential as an offensive lineman.
Highlights
Wesley Heagy Wesley Heagy 5'11" | 185 lbs | ATH Lower Dauphin | 2025 State PA Lower Dauphin. Heagy played wide receiver and defensive back for Lower Dauphin last year. At wide receiver, he has the ability to catch the ball in traffic well. He is a good athlete that you can run jet sweeps with and put him in space to make plays. He is also very good at coming up with the ball in contested catches. On defense, Heagy is good in coverage and gives plenty of cushion for the wide receivers, but he can do that because he has good enough speed to make up for it. Heagy is also impressive in the run game where he can provide run support from his defensive back position. Heagy is a good prospect who has shown a lot of potential this past season.
