This class was updated not long ago, but with the strides these prospects have made over the past few months, it’s a must that we check in on their progress. Instead of kicking off the coverage for this update by highlighting the Top 5 prospects, we’ll instead be taking a look at the highest stock risers. While this update doesn’t feature as many stock risers compared to the previous one, there were still multiple prospects that saw a sizable increase in rank. Here are four prospects that moved up 10 or more spots in this March update.
Starting us off first is one of three prospects to move up over 30 spots in this update. Brock Heath Brock Heath 6’5″ | 250 lbs | OL Blue Valley Northwest | 2025 State KS of Blue Valley Northwest is beginning to become a name to know in the recruiting world. The BVNW product became the starting right guard for the Huskies in 2022, and immediately showed that he belonged on the varsity stage. Since Heath’s All-EKL Honorable Mention season, he’s received an offer from Baylor in February, and recently took an unofficial visit to The University of Oklahoma. Heath is arguably the most athletic offensive lineman in the class, and he’s a likely candidate for the Top 10 in the next update.
DaSaahn Brame DaSaahn Brame 6’6″ | 230 lbs | TE Derby | 2025 State KS of Derby may not have been the highest stock riser in this update, but he did however receive the highest rank. After entering the rankings at No. 20 overall in the previous update, Brame is now the 3rd ranked prospect in the class. We highlighted his blocking ability back in January, but it’s been his receiving skills that have been on full display during this 7-On-7 season. Brame has been a top performer at multiple tournaments now, and as a result, he’s become one of the hottest commodities in the state. Over the past few months, the 6-foot-6 tight end has received Power 5 offers from Iowa State, Michigan, Oklahoma, Penn State, Tennessee, and Wisconsin. He’s gearing up for what looks to be a very exciting junior campaign.
After coming within reach of the Top 50 back in January, Cole Pladson Cole Pladson 5’11” | 185 lbs | LB Clay Center | 2025 State KS of Clay Center became one of the newest members to the group in this update. Pladson’s rank increased by 10 spots this time around, as he’s now the 48th ranked prospect overall and the 6th ranked backer in the class. It doesn’t get talked about enough, but Pladson is quietly one of the most well-rounded prospects in this upcoming junior class. Not only was he recognized as an All-State performer on the gridiron, but on the hardwood as well. Pladson shined this past basketball season; averaging 14 points per game during the regular season and 24 points per game in the playoffs. Now he’ll be looking to close out his sophomore year with an All-State caliber season on the diamond.
Highlights
Tying Cole Pladson Cole Pladson 5’11” | 185 lbs | LB Clay Center | 2025 State KS with the fifth largest increase in rank is Tyler West Tyler West 5’9″ | 150 lbs | ATH Shawnee Mission NW | 2025 State KS of Shawnee Mission Northwest. There are a select few prospects in this class that possess elite speed, and West is undoubtably one of them. The sophomore has showcased this speed since the end of ’22 campaign, as he posted some impressive times during the indoor track season. Most recently West set a personal best by clocking an 11.14 in the 100-meter dash, and he received a track offer from Indiana Tech at the beginning of the month. West may not have been a full-time starter last season, but his speed could present plenty of opportunities during his junior year. Look for the 37th ranked prospect to be a playmaker for the Cougars this fall.
