Three-Star running back, [player_tooltip player_id='670887' first='John' last='Price'] of Blue Valley, joins the Top 5 after bursting onto the scene in Kansas last fall. Price earned the lead role for the Tigers after transferring in from Lincoln College Prep (MO.), and immediately became an impact player for Blue Valley. He was recognized as a u003cemu003e6A All-State Honorable Mentionu003c/emu003e pick after eclipsing 1,000 yards on 142 carries and punched in 12 scores. But despite consistently being amongst the top players in the Class of '24, not enough recruiters are reaching out to Mitchell. It'd be wise for them not to wait too long. After earning multiple u003cemu003eAll-Leagueu003c/emu003e and u003cemu003eAll-Stateu003c/emu003e honors the past two years, Mitchell asserted himself as a u003cemu003e1u003csupu003estu003c/supu003e Teamu003c/emu003e caliber player during his junior season. [player_tooltip player_id='335768' first='BJ' last='Canady'] is a prospect that's been moved around within the group, and he sees another new rank, as he moves up one spot to No. 4 overall. Canady's development has been interesting to follow. He's been recruited as a defensive lineman since his sophomore year, but now he's receiving interest as an athlete. Canady has shown he can be a two-way player; going back to his days as a quarterback. Given his size and athleticism, it would be interesting to see how Canady would fare at tight end as well.
