In 2022, Mercer’s very good play was a bright spot in the 5-6 season of the Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy Eagles where they averaged 21.8 points per game. He plays as a LT. Against the run, he fires out quickly and uses his elite play strength to generate movement at the point of attack against the DE with ease. He exhibits very good physical toughness by finishing the block to the ground for a pancake. In pass pro, he plays with a good, wide base and keeps his feet moving. He uses his great length, play strength and use of hands to negate the progress of the DE and gives the QB a clean pocket to operate from.
In 2022, Quaid helped the Wyoming Cowboys to a 15-win season where they held opposing offenses to an impressive 5.1 points per game and advanced to the Division IV Championship Game. He plays as a MLB. Against the pass, he does a great job of reading the QB before locating the ball. He shows solid closing speed as he puts himself in good position and delivers a big hit as soon as the receiver makes the catch causing the ball to be deflected and intercepted by his teammate. Against the run, he shows great football intelligence as he quickly key and diagnoses the play. He displays solid play speed before using his very good play strength to stack the OG at the point of attack and make the tackle preventing a gain of significant yardage.
In 2022, Charles helped the Winton Woods Warriors to a 12-win season where they held opposing offenses to 14.1 points per game and advance to the 3rd round of the playoffs. He plays as a Safety. Against the pass, he uses his good play speed to stay in phase with slot WR and is able to stay with his man all over the field. Against the run, he quickly reads the play and uses his good play strength to shed the block from the WR. He then plays with good leverage as shows very good form as he makes the tackle preventing a first down.
In 2022, Brennan helped the Lakota West Firebirds to a 13-win season where they averaged 35.2 points per game and advanced to the 4th round of the playoffs. He lines up in the slot. He is quick off the LOS and exhibits fluid hips as he breaks off his stem and separates from the DB. He shows good hands as he makes the catch with his hands away from his body. After the catch is made, he displays very good contact balance as he breaks tackles from larger defenders and uses his good play speed to pick up significant yardage or scores on a long touchdown reception.
