Unlike many other offseason linemen camps, Allegiance events feature the linemen wearing pads and soft helmets. One-on-one reps at Allegiance camps are closer to real game reps than any offseason program I have seen.
Here are the offensive linemen that had standout performances Sunday:
MVPs
I’ve seen Schroller in real games and he is just as impressive in a camp setting than he is in games.
His sets are good and he has excellent control of his body. He has quick enough feet to keep up with speedy edge rushers and has the power to bury guys when they get caught off-balanced.
Schroller performed at his best against the best edge rushers at the camp which shows me that he thrives against top competition. He has long arms and is strong enough to make it difficult for defenders to bat his hands away.
He has over double-digit offers.
Highlights
Dobie Foisia
Dobie Foisia
Foisia was the MVP of the interior offensive linemen and he was the biggest surprise of the day.
He is massive for a class of 2026 player and matched strength with more experienced, older players. He has a wide base and is very hard to get around with speed moves.
His sets are good and he has a good initial pop with his hands. He has fast feet and doesn’t try to rely solely on his strength when defenders try speed moves on him.
Orange Lutheran had great players at the event and Foisia has a bright future there.
NEXT THREE
Flores is long and it was my first time seeing him in a camp setting.
Sometimes he needs to be more aggressive with his initial punch. He will occasionally get too deep in his set and can be vulnerable to power moves.
Flores has the quickness to get deep with edge rushers trying to beat him to the outside.
He has a lot of offers including NC State and Boston College who have offered recently. Flores has the frame to add some weight and be an even better prospect.
Matthew Perdue
Matthew Perdue
Perdue is a very good interior offensive linemen who impressed me with his quick feet.
He does a really good job replacing his hands quickly when the defender bats his arms away. He keeps his hips square and has a solid base.
Even on reps where he gets beat with speed, he recovers nicely. He will be a dangerous lineman when he adds some strength and weight.
Gourley is just as long as Schroller and if they weren’t wearing jerseys, you would easily mix them up.
He is very good with his hands and does a good job using his inside hand to control defenders. Sometimes he sets a little too much to the outside and it can leave him vulnerable to a good inside pass rush.
Gourley could afford to add some muscle and weight.
