Another huge player from Bloomington Central Catholic, I don’t even think Jackson has scratched the surface on how good he can be. He currently plays LT for the Saints but his future lies on the IOL at the next level. He has great push when engaged in the run game and does a great job of making sure that his defender does not make the play. His knowledge on the field matches his GPA off of it (3.5) and it shows on film. Once he really fine tunes his technique and puts on the required size to be a major college guard, look for him to really take off. He is gathering the interest of multiple FCS and FBS schools already. His Twitter handle is @JacksonMetzdor4

Jack is a very interesting prospect at the IOL position. He played OT in 2022 for a run heavy offense but I can see his future at Guard or even Center. He does a great job of being physical at the point of attack and he has the athletic ability to be effective in space and in the pulling schemes. Now with that being said, don’t let me convince you that he can’t pass protect at all, because he can, he just needs to polish is technique in that aspect of his game to be really effective. A MONSTER of a student athlete (3.7 GPA), he has made visits to multiple IVY league schools as well as some local MAC schools and Wyoming. His Twitter handle is @JackAndersonFB1

A bit of an undersized tackle prospect, Eli is another player who I see making the kick inside to IOL at the next level. He has a really good pop off the snap but can be a little stiff moving for the tackle position, hence the future at guard. He does a great job of finishing his blocks down field and the patience he currently shows in protection at tackle will only help him when he moves to the interior. He has several visits set up to local D3 programs and a few D2 programs and should excel at college wherever he chooses to go. His Twitter handle is @elisecher66
Jalen is a massive prospect out of the always talented Homewood Flossmoor program and, in what seems to be a trend in this article, is another tackle who I can see excelling at IOL at the next level. He has the athletic ability to handle the HS player on the edge but the speed might be too much at the next level. He does possess exceptionally patient hands in pass protection though and once he learns how to use his strength and size to his advantage he will be really special. He has made some trips to NIU and has an upcoming visit to Minnesota State on the horizon. Look for a huge season in 2023 from Jalen. His Twitter handle is @JalenCole19
If you were to have me pick out the one player who LOOKS like a D1 offensive linemen on film it would be Kyle. He has exceptional movement, plays with a great nasty streak and knows when to find work in pass protection. He does a fantastic job of moving his defender where he needs to be moved and does a great job in space when pulling on gap schemes. He knows how to finish and has all of the tools you would expect from a guy who can make an immediate impact on the offensive line anywhere he goes. He has made visits to some MAC schools as well as many of the major FCS schools. His Twitter handle is @KyleBaltazar75

Alex Romo
Alex Romo
Big prospect for the Rocks of Rock Island, Alex is a definite quality player on the OL. He has the size that when he gets moving, you do not want to be in his way on the field. Needs to work on his knee bend and drive off of the ball but has the traits and qualities to be a top notch D3 or even D2 player at the next level. Can track well in space but still needs to polish up his feet and work on the technical side of his game to be really effective. Look for a big season in 2023 from Alex as he hopes to lead the Rocks deep into the playoffs. His Twitter handle is @Alexignacio44
Another big Offensive lineman from the western part of the state, Jake has some real pop at the tackle position. He does a great job on his down blocks and has the knowledge (3.7 GPA) to understand defenses and where to help out in pass protection. He has enough athletic ability to get out in space and lead on a defensive back and can still maintain great leverage in pass protection. His greatest asset at this point is his snap off the football and once he polishes up the rest of his game he will be a great talent at the next level. Look for a busy spring and summer from Jake as he tries to get his name and game out there to be recognized. His Twitter handle is @JakeVandeWiele
