With the hundreds of thousands of high school prospects that come out every year, it can be hard for scouts and recruiters to highlight every player that deserves recognition. This is a list of five quarterbacks that I believe should have at least one offer from a Power 5 school.

2023 6'0" 200 LB QB - [player_tooltip player_id='90649' first='Noah' last='Brannock'] - Calvert Hall

Let's start the list off with the only player on the list that has committed to a school for the upcoming football season. Though he is the shortest quarterback on the list, [player_tooltip player_id='90649' first='Noah' last='Brannock'] might play the biggest. His athleticism shines throughout his entire highlight reel. Brannock runs a 4.80 forty yard dash, which is very apparent when you watch him play. However, despsite his dual threat ability, the Cardinals' starting quarterback still has a keen ability to get the ball to his receivers. [player_tooltip player_id='90649' first='Noah' last='Brannock'] doesn't lose any touch on his throws or his accuracy when delivering the ball outside of the pocket. Speaking of his accuracy, his deep throws down the field almost seem as if he is handing the ball directly to his receivers. As crazy as this may sound, when watching his film I couldn't help but make Russell Wilson comparisons. Both short, mobile quarterbacks who look to get the ball downfield even after the play breaks down and have the arm strength to get it there. As of July 31, 2022, [player_tooltip player_id='90649' first='Noah' last='Brannock'] hard committed to William & Mary University.

2023 6'3" 181 LB QB - [player_tooltip player_id='246840' first='Kendell' last='Anderson'] - Montgomery Blair High School

[player_tooltip player_id='246840' first='Kendell' last='Anderson'] checks off all of the boxes when it comes to the eye test. A tall, athletic build, lightning fast and a strong arm. Thankfully, all these things transfer over to his play on the field. Anderson is nothing short of a quintessential dual threat quarterback. He has the ability to tuck it and run for 75 yards downfield but also can launch a 50 yard bomb with the flick of his wrist. For as much as his physical attributes stand out, its his mental approach to the game and his mechanics that make him a special player. Anderson throws the corner route almost as good as anyone I've ever seen. It almost seems as if the quarterback and his receiver are playing catch at school, with absolutely no defense. He can drop the ball where it goes to the receiver or the sideline, giving the defensive back no real chance to make a play on the ball. Lastly, Anderson's decision making with the football is another key part to his game. He takes what the defense gives him and waits for his opportunity to make the big play. Currently, [player_tooltip player_id='246840' first='Kendell' last='Anderson'] has offers from Campbell University and Morgan State University.

2024 6'3" 195 LB QB - [player_tooltip player_id='263183' first='Christian' last='Petruzzello'] - Linganore High School

Next, is the only quarterback from the class of 2024 to make the list. [player_tooltip player_id='263183' first='Christian' last='Petruzzello'] does exactly what he needs to do in order to get the Lancers' offense moving. Starting with his arm, Petruzzello is extremely accurate. Now I know I've spoken on each quarterback's accuracy. However, I'm truly confident in stating that I believe Petruzzello to be the most accurate quarterback on the list. He makes sure to use his mechanics with every throw and that combined along with his precise decision making add up to make a player defensive coordinators hate to plan against. [player_tooltip player_id='263183' first='Christian' last='Petruzzello']'s pocket awareness is something that stuck out to me while watching his tape. He takes his time and goes through his reads. After finding where he wants to go with the ball, Petruzzello can then use his tremendous arm strength and deliver a strike downfield. Currently, he is going into his senior season with no offers. However, I don't see that staying the same for long.

2023 6'3" 195 LB QB - [player_tooltip player_id='260222' first='Jordan' last='Brooks'] - Concordia Prep

I'll just start by saying [player_tooltip player_id='260222' first='Jordan' last='Brooks'] should be playing somewhere on Saturdays this upcoming fall. I would go as far as to say that Brooks is the most college ready quarterback on the list. My favorite thing about his game isn't how he throws the football, but its WHERE he throws the football. His placement of the football is second to no one. It almost looks as if Brooks has the ball on a string and can move it to place it exactly where the receiver needs it. Tight window throws are the name of his game. As many analysts say, [player_tooltip player_id='260222' first='Jordan' last='Brooks'] can really put some mustard on a ball to get it in between two defenders. Quarterbacks at that level tend to develop that later on, which intrigues me about Brooks even more. Now for as technically sound Brooks' game is, he can flat out play with his physical abilities as well. Equipped with a rocket for an arm and blazing speed, I see no reasonn why [player_tooltip player_id='260222' first='Jordan' last='Brooks'] shouldn't be playing somewhere at the next level. Currently, he has no offers.

2023 6'2" 205 LB QB - [player_tooltip player_id='471047' first='Jack' last='Pellicciotti'] - Liberty High School

Now even though I stated that [player_tooltip player_id='260222' first='Jordan' last='Brooks'] might be the most college ready quarterback on the list, [player_tooltip player_id='471047' first='Jack' last='Pellicciotti'] is by far my favorite. He has an absolute cannon for an arm, by far the strongest on the list. The scariest part isn't how far he can get it, but how quickly he can get it there. Pelliccioitti's release is unwordly, giving pass rushers absolutely no chance to get near him. Along with his absurdly strong arm, [player_tooltip player_id='471047' first='Jack' last='Pellicciotti'] can turn absolutely nothing into a touchdown play. It's almost Patrick Mahomes-like. Reversing field three times, no receiver seeming open and a defensive end breathing down his neck. Somehow, he'll launch a bomb 55 yards downfield that goes for a score. Things like that cannot be taught, they simply just have it and it is exactly what Pellicciotti has. Currently, the Liberty High senior has no offers.
