Brock Benson Brock Benson 6'0" | 220 lbs | RB North Judson-San Pierre | 2025 State IN – North Judson San-Pierre – RB – 6’0″ 220lbs
Benson had his breakout campaign last year, but with another year like the one he just had, he could solidify himself as one of the better backs in the area and pick up some traction. He’s a downhill runner who isn’t afraid of contact and is willing to be physical at the point of attack. He’s got good vision and a nice side step that can get him to the outside in a hurry. Being able to run through contact and not struggling with the hits down the road were key for their offense and Benson’s confidence. It’s cliche, but it’s true here that Benson got so much better throughout the season. His first year starting on Varsity and with live bullets flying, I’d say he did just fine for himself. Benson put up 1300+ rushing yards and 16 TDs on the year. He started the first game of the year and never looked back while having games where he went nuclear. 197-yards and 2 TDs against Triton was his best performance. Quite the season for the young back who is looking to improve upon and add to what he just did in his first year starting.

Holland Harris Holland Harris 6'5" | 175 lbs | QB Hammond Morton | 2025 State IN – Hammond Morton – QB – 6’5″ 175lbs
Harris is a rising and developing young QB who was able to put quite a bit of flash on tape last year. The size and raw athleticism alone are enough to get you intrigued and to look his way. While there’s still development to be done, he’s absolutely on the right track. He’s able to play off script, create big plays with his legs, and is seemingly more comfortable throwing on the run. Once he gets his feet underneath him in the pocket, he could really take off as a passer. He’s willing to be aggressive with the ball and push it downfield while having these moments of beautiful ball placement. He certainly isn’t a polished product and could use some work in the weight room, but his intangibles are more than noticeable. He’s a threat with his legs as much as he is his arm right now. He’s able to get the corner, bust a long run, and move the chains when he needs to. He’s often flushed out of the pocket pretty quickly so he has to rely on his legs just to get a ball off sometimes. Harris checks quite a few boxes in terms of the intangibles you want in a guy to bring in and develop. If he lands with the right program and they are patient with him while utilizing his skillset, Harris could explode at the next level.

Beau Braun Beau Braun 6'2" | 190 lbs | WR Westfield | 2025 State IN – Westfield – WR – 6’2″ 190lbs
Braun is right where he should be in terms of development and work ethic to get to where he needs to be. He’s been in a loaded WR room developing nicely on JV and lightning it up on 7 on 7 this winter with the CE Stars. Anytime Braun has gotten his chance, he’s come through. Whether it be a big role or a small role, he’s been ready. He’s long, makes quick cuts, and has good hands. He’s able to adjust on the move and knows the basic scramble drill rules, and gets open when the ball comes. It’s one thing to head North when your QB scrambles, it’s another thing to be reliable enough to catch that ball on the move and box out guys if they come for the pick. Braun has such smooth hips it’s wild to see how quickly he cuts and changes direction without losing any momentum. Braun has looked so good on 7 on 7 he’s been picking up visits to some schools as of late. He’s got the size, athletic ability, and quite a few other traits you’re looking for. If he puts it all together this fall like they’re anticipating, he’s going to skyrocket in rankings and boards everywhere.

Bryce Harriman Bryce Harriman 6'3" | 290 lbs | OL Columbus North | 2025 State IN – Columbus North – OL – 6’3″ 290lbs
Harriman is coming off of an overall pretty good season. While he did miss a few games due to an injury, when he came back he seemed to never miss a beat and stepped right back into place. The offense is noticeably more in rhythm with him on the field. For a guy with his size, you wouldn’t anticipate being Center at this level, but he’s actually phenomenal in the middle. Clean, quick, and straight snaps every time and the ability to cover 2 gaps in the middle, go on the move, and simply blow his guy off the ball has the coaching staff looking really smart here. Harriman is off the ball so quick that it’s hard to believe he’s 6’3″ and when he’s on the move, there are times he’s going too fast and needs to slow down and let the game come to him. When they put him at Tackle, he’s been able to seal the edge and still get to the second level when run-blocking so there’s potential there as well. If he’s able to hit the weight room and get a better feel for the timing on things, he could blow up next year as a force for their line up front. Harriman is a really intriguing piece for Columbus North, and is on the right trajectory to have a nice career at the next-level when the time comes.
