After updating the 2023 and 2024 rankings, we have now released our initial rankings for the class of 2025. Over the next couple weeks, I will be breaking these rankings down by position. After already covering the quarterback, running back, and wide receiver positions, I will now turn my attention to the top tight ends in the class of 2025 in the state of Kentucky.
After spending last year splitting tight end reps with senior Thomas Howard Thomas Howard 6’3″ | 215 lbs | TE Frederick Douglass | 2023 State KY , Graham Dunn Graham Dunn 6’2″ | 195 lbs | TE Frederick Douglass | 2025 State KY is now looking to fully take over the starting duties for the Broncos. In his role last season, Dunn caught three passes for 40 yards. In the passing game, Dunn has shown the ability to run routes like a true receiver and has very reliable hands. After the catch, Dunn has the speed to get up the field to pick up extra yards and the elusiveness to make defenders miss in the open field. He is also a reliable blocker, showing the ability to wall off the opposing defender to create a running lane for the ball carrier. Graham currently holds offers from Eastern Kentucky and Miami (OH) and I expect more to come his way as his role continues to grow in the Broncos’ offense.
Andrew Vrbancic Andrew Vrbancic 6’3″ | 220 lbs | TE Louisville Male | 2025 State KY is a player that jumped onto my radar this past season. He played a key role in Male’s run to the 6A State Championship Game, catching 13 passes for 128 yards and four touchdowns in nine games. Andrew is a reliable blocker in the run game, showing the ability to create movement off the line of scrimmage. He also does a great job of picking up blocks in open space on long runs. As a pass catcher, Vrbancic is a smooth route runner that has the ability to create separation and has very reliable hands. He also plays a role on special teams as the Bulldogs’ long snapper. While he doesn’t currently hold any offers, Andrew has received some college interest and definitely has the talent to play somewhere at the next level.
Highlights
The third and final tight end that made our Top 150 for the class of 2025 is Cameron Jessee Cameron Jessee 6’2″ | 230 lbs | ATH Louisville DuPont Manual | 2025 State KY from DuPont Manual. Jessee had a solid sophomore season, catching 11 passes for 188 yards and two touchdowns. In the run game, Jessee is a very physical blocker. He drives his man off the line of scrimmage and finishes his blocks through the whistle, resulting in several pancake blocks. As a pass catcher, he has very reliable hands and has the speed to turn up the field and pick up yards after the catch. Jessee doesn’t currently hold any offers but has received some college interest and has the talent to play somewhere at the next level.
