Kevin Oatis Kevin Oatis 6'3" | 265 lbs | DL Hattiesburg | 2025 State MS , Hattiesburg, DL
Oatis was amazing this weekend. He stood out amongst some of the best in his class. He made sure he dominated the competition. There weren’t many offensive linemen who could stop him. Oatis used a lot of different moves to dominate. He was the overall defensive linemen MVP.
Akylin Dear, Quitman, RB
Dear was lights out. He was making acrobat catches all over the place. He also showed that he can run good routes. I think that Dear is guy that can be an all-purpose back. You can line him up at receiver as well. He isn’t going to be a one dimensional back. He has a lot to work with. Dear is a 6-foot-1, 195-pound running back that is not slow. He is a 4.5 forty yard dash prospect. Dear has received four power five offers within the last forty-eight hours. This kid is going to be one of the best prospects in the 2025 class.
Cortez Thomas Cortez Thomas 6'2" | 175 lbs | ATH Holmes County Central | 2025 State MS , Holmes County Central, DB
Thomas ran a 4.56 at the Under Armour Camp. This young man is constantly showing why he has his stock rising. Thomas is a tall guy that you have to put on your opponent’s best receiver. He was using his long arms to knock route runners off of their game. He has good recovery speed that he was showing off. Thomas also proved that he will constantly compete. He is a guy that hits camps, and wants to learn.
Na’eem Offord, ATH, Parker (Ala.)
Offord is the truth on his islands. He can play on both sides of the ball. However, I think that he is a defensive back. That is the position he worked out at this weekend. Offord also won a defensive award for the wide receiver/defensive back group. He is going to play power five football. This young man has the whole southeast talking. Offord didn’t lose many battles this weekend. He is a born defensive back.
