I hooked up with the CEO of RecruitNE_GA, Coach D. He gave me tons of information and some insights on who are those underdogs in Georgia. Let’s dive in!
Tank Harris – OLB/Safety – Winder Borrow HS / @TyronHarris_
Harris takes proper angles and shows impressive closing speed. Work in progress as a pass rusher, with upfield burst and flexibility to dip and scrape. Harris is an explosive athlete, a sideline-to-sideline playmaker. He’s a fluid mover who reads, reacts and accelerates quickly.
Cyler Corn – OT/DT – Groesbeck HS / @CylerCorn
Corn has the agility, technique, and size to contribute early in his college career. Quick, active hands to latch on to defenders. Takes pride blocking, Foster plays through the whistle with tremendous physicality. Fires off the line of scrimmage with good initial power at the point of attack. Foster consistently holds his own and his hand strength allows him to grip and move opponents in the run game.
Khalid Bawa-Allah – DT/DE / @Khxlid2024
Bawa-allah has enough flexible to bend the edge, and he’s at his best when he can use his quickness and change-of-direction abilities to counter back inside. Adequate change-of-direction agility and straight-line speed to contain. He has great strength in shedding offensive linemen with ease.
Kendrick Curry – RB – Clarke Central HS / @KCurry7_
Curry has the strength to complement a power-back rushing attack if need be. His electric speed allowing him too easily burn tacklers on corners. Curry has the vision and confidence to hit holes without second thought. Can’t wait for him to perform this season.
Tyler Ragan – OL/DL – Santiam Christian HS / @TyBerserker
Ragan shows excellent awareness against twists and stunts, and Ragan has the strong, flexible core and wide base to catch and handle moving defenders. He also shows good quickness and flexibility on reach blocks, and he has enough range to get out as a puller. He’s quick to react to twists and stunts up front, and he shows an excellent understanding of angles when moving out as a run blocker.
