He is a downhill vertical plug that can sniff out plays quickly, moves quickly through traffic and is a strong tackler in the box and open field. Seemingly always around the ball, Roberts can fill gaps quickly, is a sure tackler with violence at the POA and shows a heavy strike when taking on blockers. He is a big time in the box player with very impressive closing speed and movement abilities for his size, while strong and powerful at the POA and flashes a quick play diagnosis. He can track ball carriers backside, shows closing speed against quicker backs and can provide a inside pass rush as well coming up the middle. Jackson is a very well put together kid with lower body strength, quick play diagnosis and runs through contact when tackling in space and in the box. He can get downhill in a hurry and weaves through traffic quickly while able to close in the backfield and provides pass rush abilities as well.
