He is a very athletic twitchy interior defender with heavy hands at the POA that quickly locks out blockers and can shed without giving up ground near the LOS. He is stout against the run but also shows a quick use of hands at contact and has a variety of pass rush moves at his disposal. Elbelisy moves well with some closing speed in the pocket and is athletic for his size.
