The defensive line group across the state in the 2024 class is a very solid group with both edge defenders and interior guys as well. In our newest rankings release, there are plenty of next level kids that are coming off terrific Junior seasons and are in line for big 2023 campaigns. Who entered our ranks? Find out here!
Highlights
Ivankovich has a rare combination of length and speed for the inside, and is quick off the ball while establishing imediate inside hand placement and lock out at the POA. He is athletic enough to two-gap, take on pullers and provides an interior pass rush due to his length and variety of inside pass rush moves. A high motor kid with closing speed and quick block recognition when denting or defeating reach blocks, he offers nice position versatility along the defensive line at the next level.
Robinson should fit nicely at the defensive end position in college, and is a true four down hand in the dirt player as he continues to pack on more weight and add to his frame. He has a quick first step off the line with natural bend around the edge with closing speed and open field tackling abilities. Robinson shows he knows when to counter back inside on over-setting tackles and shows quick COD abilities in the backfield while able to close backside and track down ball carriers on the edge. Checking in inside our top ten defensive lineman in the class, he is in line for a stellar senior season for Canyon Ridge.
Reynolds is a plug inside and on the edge and shows a a heavy punch, good lock out at the POA and plays with a sturdy base and a low hat while able to eat up double teams and is athletic enough to two-gap when needed. He is a high motor kid that can also make plays from a 4i-6-tech and should draw D-III interest as he finishes up his prep career. Very deserving to enter into our ranks, he also has some upside due to his length at the next level.
