Carter is a twitchy pass rusher with length, range and good closing speed and overall athleticism. He can use a variety of pass rush moves off the edge, a quick first step and gets his hands on tackles quickly with inside placement and elite COD/movement abilities in space. His frame allows him to continue to pack on more weight and grow as he continues through his career and he has some nice upside at the P5 level as well. He currently holds 9 offers form the likes of ASU, Iowa State, Colorado State and Arizona, among others.
Shank is one of the more well rounded and violent first level defenders across the region and recently picked up his first offer from Nevada earlier this Spring. He is a physical kid against the run with immediate lock out/good hand placement while showing he can eat double teams and drive blocks while offering some power rush moves as well. Shank moves up our rankings to crack the top ten within the defensive line group and should see his stock rise as he continues to get to camps and showcases this off-season.
Howard is ranked as a 3-star prospect per 247-Sports and is a FBS caliber kid that has been flying a bit under the radar during his prep career, but is a big time edge defender across the state. He is twitchy for his frame, shows first step quickness and natural bend off the edge or when kicked inside and offers some nice position versatility as well. Howard checks in as the number nine defensive lineman in the state, and is very deserving to shoot up our 2024 rankings.
Sanchez is a well put together kid in the middle of this Morenci defense and is a no brainer D-III+ player at the next level and should draw college interest during his Senior season. He plays with heavy hands, quick lock out, and can violently get off blocks without losing ground and resets the LOS quickly. Sanchez now checks in just inside our top 20 and is in line for a monster Senior season and should see his stock rise as he finishes up his prep career.
