Wilson is one of the nation’s top recruits at quarterbacks and shredded defense after defense last season. His ability to make power throws is exceptional. Wilson is a master at escaping pressure, and sacks is Houdini-like. The Chargers signal caller can scramble for what seems like an eternity to give his receivers time to get open downfield. Wilson has excellent footwork, and his releases are outstanding. His accuracy is also impeccable, and he always seems to move the chains when the Chargers need him to. In addition, to his outstanding skills in the pocket, Wilson can also decimate defenses with his legs.
Jackson Stevens Jackson Stevens 6'5" | 225 lbs | QB Skyridge | 2024 State UT || QB || 6’4 || 200 || Skyridge High School || 2024
Stevens possesses one of the state’s strongest arms, and he knows how to control it. His accuracy on throws over 20 yards is remarkable. The Falcons new quarterback can drop passes perfectly into his receiver’s hands outside the numbers or over the middle of the field. In addition, he excels at making off-platform throws where he can rifle passes into tight coverage. Stevens isn’t fazed by pressure in his face and will stand tall in the pocket in order to make a play for his team. The touch he displays on downfield throws is remarkable and will make the Falcons offense dangerous this coming season.
Easton Wight Easton Wight 6'0" | 165 lbs | QB Farmington | 2024 State UT || QB || 6’0 || 165 || Farmington High School || 2024
Wight diced up defenses with accurate throw after throw to lead the Phoenix offense to immense success in 2022. He does a great job escaping pressure and resetting his feet in order to deliver downfield strikes. Wight throws a great ball and goes through his possessions at a good pace. He doesn’t get locked on one read and excels at manipulating safeties with his eyes. In addition, he can make difficult throws on the move. Wright does an excellent job of recognizing mismatches on the outside and will place the ball where only his intended target can make the grab.
Jake Hopkins Jake Hopkins 6'1" | 165 lbs | QB Syracuse | 2024 State UT || QB || 6’1 || 165 || Syracuse High School || 2024
Hopkins impresses with his ability to make tight-window throws. The coverage could be solid, and he still finds ways to deliver balls on the money. He makes excellent decisions off-play action passes, and his ball placement is elite. Hopkins displays good footwork and great velocity on each of his throws. When pressured, he gets the ball out quickly and avoids bad sacks. He raises his game in the red zone and puts his body on the line to score touchdowns for his team. Hopkins can beat any coverage and does a great job finding the soft spots against zone to move the sticks on third and longs.
