We have some guys who have just been under the radar and need a chance to shine. It can’t be stressed enough that it is crunch time for this class. Their time is now.
Tylan McNichols Tylan McNichols 6'1" | 200 lbs | DB Newton County | 2024 State MS , ATH, Newton Co
McNichols is every definition of a dog. He is just as talented as the top prospects the 2024 class can offer. He has a lot of strength, good speed, nice size, and he is a leader. McNichols also understands the game of football very well. He is polished at each position he plays. When he is on defense he knows how to approach the run at the right angles. He is a beast when the ball is in the air. He is an interceptiom machine who can take it to the house at any time. He punishes blockers then gets to the runner. When he is at receiver he runs decent routes, and he knows how to get open. He throws nice solid blocks on running plays or screen plays. On his film you will see one play where he takes on two defenders to help his teammate. This young man is a dog. I truly think he is a power five prospect. He is a guy coaches need to get familiar with.
Charlie Fair Charlie Fair 6'1" | 200 lbs | QB Grenada | 2024 State MS , QB, Grenada
Fair is going to Grenada this season. His father has been hired as the head coach of Grenada High School Football. Fair should be the spark on offense this team has needed. I’m a fan of Grenada for more reasons than one. I’m excited to see this young man have a core of receivers to progress through during his reads. He does that very well. He also will have the running back to make a check down to. Another thing he does well. Fair also can move around the pocket very well. He is going to be able to complete those deep balls very well also. He can also stick the ball in the middle of the field without leaving a receiver vulnerable. Fair is going to have a great season.
Jamory Harris, RB, Smiths Station (Ala.)
I love the way Harris hits the hop step when he needs to fit into the right hole. He has decent speed, but he is very quick. He has the balance to be a nice scat back. Harris is a great zone style running back. He is a guy that is going to find the space to make a play. Harris could even be a defensive back on the next level. That balance he has shows he has nice hips. He also has some good feet. I will definitely be keeping up with his journey.
Halbert Lee Clark III, ATH, Davidson (Ala.)
Clark is a mean machine on defense. He steps up to make some nice tackles. He knows how to shed blocks to get to the runner. When he does so, he knows how to make good open field tackles. Clark has some good size at 6-foot, 170 pounds. I can see him being a rover safety or nickel on the next level. Clark can be trusted to step down and hold a tight end or slot receiver. He is physical enough to drop down in the box with linebackers. I plan to attend a Davidson football game this season. He is one guy I’m definitely looking forward to watching.
