As a receiver Herron has shown that he can do it all from route running, blocking and being a ball carrier. Jayvon displayed that he can make big plays on a regular basis and be a great consistent target for his QB. What impressed me the most about Herron was his ability to make contested catches and feel the void in defense and exploit the coverages. There were several clips where he would simply find open space and show his numbers to the QB for a great efficient play.  Jayvon also showed capability to be a punt returner on special teams which further solidifies his value as a prospect. He showed the ability to play the role of an outside linebacker as well and an inside backer. Washington can blitz, drop in coverage and flow sideline to sideline to make a play. Washington had several pass deflections, tackles, sacks and interceptions making him an extremely effective athlete. I really liked his tenacity on every play combined with his top tier performance. Jay has shown that he has the ability to make plays under high pressure almost all on his own. It was evident that he turned potentially negative plays into positive yardage keeping the drive alive and the offense on the field. As he gets surrounded with more talent and athletes he should continue to excel. One can see Williams recording multiple PBUs several interceptions and flying all over the field making plays.  His technique in coverage is quite well developed and allows for him to read the QBs intentions and close on the ball with ease. Another aspect to note about Jekerious is his ability to be effective in multiple alignments and on the offensive side of the ball as well. His size and mobility help him against defensive linemen and linebackers alike. He consistently sticks his blocks and drives his opponent into the lap of the linebackers. Getting this type of movement upfront is the difference between a short gain and a huge gain. There were several times where Smith made key blocks to get the back out in space to keep the chains moving on the drive.
