Rickey Williams Rickey Williams 6’2″ | 215 lbs | LB Archbishop Hoban | 2024 State OH is menace at the linebacker position and can make a game-changing play at any moment. Williams’ speed and athleticism at 6’2 make him the ideal candidate for an all-Ohio nod in his senior year. Playing one of the most difficult schedules in the state of Ohi0, Williams has proven his ability to be a playmaker against some of the best opponents a player can see. Able to bulldoze over offensive linemen and terrorize running backs make him so dangerous when reading a play. His ability to react to a situation and make a decision quickly leads to turnovers and stops when his team needs them most. Williams has numerous offers so far this offseason, with the biggest coming from West Virginia earlier this year. Williams will have his pick of powerhouse schools when the time comes, but for now he remains open while making trips to several universities.

An instinctive defensive back with exceptional footwork when dropping into coverage, Gino Blasini Gino Blasini 6’2″ | 195 lbs | DB Kirtland | 2024 State OH limits the field for opposing quarterbacks by keeping stride with his assignment. A ballhawking back, Blasini spends time as a wide receiver giving him the mindset to go for turnovers when the ball is in his area. Collecting seven interceptions and 20 pass break ups, Blasini often finds himself in the right place at the right time with strong closing speed and his 6’2 size to stop passes before they reach their intended target. He plays most of his snaps on defense at cornerback, but also spends time at safety and has the size to play up to the line. Blasini is a physical back that gets in on tackles as well and has the agility to keep running backs from breaking out. This offseason, Blasini is exploring his options headed into his senior year and has been in contact with a couple of MAC schools as well as Mercyhurst.

Highlights
Macguire Boyd Macguire Boyd 5’10” | 180 lbs | LB Kirtland | 2024 State OH is an old-school physical linebacker that loves to bring the contact and deliver big hits. Boyd recognizes run plays with maturity beyond his years. His ability to read blocks in and process where a play is headed gives him an edge to attack running backs and bring them down in their tracks. Boyd’s long arms give him the ability to wrap up ball carriers and doesn’t let them go. Boyd shows no hesitation when coming up to make a play which often leads to short gains for the offense. While his best attribute is his initial burst, Boyd has the speed to play over the middle of the field in coverage. Always finding a way to get on the field, Boyd plays a traditional fullback role of being a blocker and knocking opponents to the ground. A student in the gym, Boyd is adding strength this offseason to bulk up for his final season where he looks to continue to impress for a chance to play on Saturdays.

A combination of strength and agility, Dorian Pringle Dorian Pringle 6’0″ | 220 lbs | LB Massillon Washington | 2024 State OH doesn’t let blockers get in his way when hunting down a ball carrier. Showing his ability to break through double teams and not afraid of challenging bigger offensive linemen, Pringle has a full arsenal of abilities to beat his opponent. Pringle plays with his head up always looking for the ball and shed blockers in a hurry to attack running backs. He has impressive closing speed to contain backs and hits like a ton of bricks to minimize yardage. Pringle has elite lateral movement from the linebacker position to quickly close running lanes on the wide side of the field. Pringle is a blitzing linebacker that shows impressive speed to close on mobile quarterbacks to bring them down. So far, Pringle has a handful of MAC offers he has earned, but with another year like his last, Pringle has the talent and ability to be a power five player competing for a big time program.
