Tyree Johnson
Tyree Johnson 5'9" | 185 lbs | RB | 2024
TX

Yesterday we asked for running backs to share their film with us. There are some guys who are very impressive that dropped their film. Running backs have a big load in today's game. They have to be receivers, runners and good blockers. Let's check them out.

[player_tooltip player_id='623711' first='Tyree' last='Johnson'], New Braunfels

Johnson is a scat back that can also tote the rock in the trenches. Johnson has some good way of making defenders miss. He has a lot of speed when he changes directions. Johnson has great balance between the tackles. He isn't a guy that is easily taken down. Johnson also has good hands out of the backfield. He is a beast on screen plays. Johnson has a lot of skills. He is a guy we need to keep up with. I think he is a division one player.

Justis Thomas, Ball High

Thomas is a guy that has great patience from the backfield. He knows how to let his blockers set up before he hits his full stride. Thomas has good vision. He knows how to choose the right hole. I don't know what his 40 time is however, on his film you can see he gets away for several touchdowns. Thomas has good size. He also knows how to keep his feet moving after contact. He will have a chance to continue playing football after high school. Young man has some potential.

Demetrius Willis, Plano

Willis is a running back that also plays linebacker. You can tell from his film. Watching his film you will notice he is guy they love to use in short yardage situations. Willis gets those shoulders square when he needs to get those tough yards. Willis has a nice straight arm that he uses as well. You won't see Willis shaking too many people. He is a back that likes to go through his opponent. I think Willis is going to be a linebacker in college. He has the build and broad shoulders that a backer needs. It was very fun watching him run the ball. I can tell he is a tough hitter on defense.

Jameer Muhammad, Carter-Riverside

Muhammad has a lot of speed that gives him a quick burst through the line of scrimmage. Even though he is a taller back, he runs well behind his shoulder pads. Muhammad has the vision you want your back to have. He isn't a guy who is a tiptoe runner. He can create lanes by making the right decision on the zone read play. Muhammad also is a great target out of the backfield. He is a guy you can put in motion to the slot and watch him work. He is a kid that can definitely make it on the next level. Muhammad is a touchdown scoring machine.

Yesterday we asked for running backs to share their film with us. There are some guys who are very impressive that dropped their film. Running backs have a big load in today's game. They have to be receivers, runners and good blockers. Let's check them out.
