AJ Surace is the best QB in this class by a healthy margin. What sets him apart is not only his ability to push the ball down the field but his ability to place the ball wherever he chooses on these throws. The windows that he takes advantage of are something impressive to watch when you turn on his tape.
However, even though he’s able to put the ball where and how wants. I need him to undeniably set himself apart from his contemporaries. The Rutgers commit threw for over 1500 passing yards with a 53% completion percentage. A quarterback of his stature should be closer to a 60% completion percentage. This goal is attainable and you will see an even better Quarterback play out of Surace next season.

Highlights
With Power 5/ NFL measurable in high school Cole Hughes Cole Hughes 6'2" | 205 lbs | QB Park Ridge | 2024 State NJ is a man amongst boys in terms of the competition he plays. Standing at 6’2 220lbs and a 4.6 40-yard dash time. Hughes was able to amass over 1250+ yards on the ground and 1000+ yards passing. Selfishly, I would like to see his numbers balance themselves out and get hyper focus on being a better passer. I firmly believe that if he does this with his athleticism he can be a Power 5 quarterback with his best football ahead of him. He holds two offers from Lehigh and Army but his talent level suggests he can play at the highest level of college level.
BEST PLAY-ACTION PASSER
I came away very impressed with what I saw from Grusser despite his season being cut short due to injury. His footwork and decisiveness on play-action throws stand out above anything else you see on tape.
Throwing off play-action may look simple but the footwork is very intricate. Not to mention having to read the defense pre-snap and then post-snap with back to the opposition. Then having to work your progressions down the field and deliver the ball accurately, which Grusser can consistently do. It’s a testament to his relentless work ethic in perfecting his craft.

Highlights
Zamot came off of a season where he not only passed for 3100 yards and 27 touchdowns but led his team to a state title. Achieving all this in his first full season as a starter amongst a myriad of awards and accolades.
However, while he has the wins and the impressive stats. He currently has no offers from any colleges. And with the proliferation of the transfer portal and coaches opting for transfers over high school recruits this road became even tougher.
Let me be clear, I believe he can develop into a Power 5 quarterback and he has traits that can be honed. What I would like to see is for him to take the disrespect and used not take any days off and use every opportunity to prove he is the guy he believes he is. Zamot will have a season that will be even better than his junior season.
