Prep Redzone Florida will always promote everybody in hopes of them getting the opportunity of playing college football at the next level.
Julian Prime- Lyman High c/o 25
5’10 191lbs
Prime is the top returning back in the District and will have Lyman High geared for a playoff run in 2023. Last season Prime finished second on the team with 43 carries for 499 yards, averaging 12 yards per carry with 7 rushing touchdowns! He also contributed in the passing game with 4 catches for 84 yards and a touchdown. Prime is a powerful back that runs with a natural low center of gravity, he’s versatile and can be flexed into the slot as a receiver, flashes good feet in the hole and does have the speed (4.5 40) to take it the distance once he hits the crease. He’s a player with the ability to hit the 1,000 yard mark this season.
Kellen Willis- East River High c/o 24
5’9 165lbs
Willis and Caton could form one of the best running back duos in the District this season. Last season Willis finished third on the team with 48 carries for 291 yards, averaging over 6 yards per carry with two rushing touchdowns. He also added 10 catches for 56 yards and a touchdown. Willis is a three down back that can be used out of the backfield, he shows good acceleration and speed (4.48 40) once he hits the open field. Will be a player to watch out for this spring!
Kaden Caton- East River High c/o 24
Caton is a player that I expect to make a big leap in production this season for the Falcons. Combined with Willis I believe they could help East River be in playoff contention for the 2023 season. Caton finished last season with 35 carries for 179 yards, averaging over 5 yards per carry with 3 rushing touchdowns. He also had 3 catches for 16 yards. He doesn’t have much film, but he does show glimpses of running with good power and short area quickness. One to watch this spring.
Kevin Watson- Oviedo High c/o 24
5’8 175lbs
With the Lions top two rushers graduating; I really like what I see out of Watson to be the lead back this season. Last year in a backup role through 8 games he rushed for 150 yards, averaging 6 yards per carry with two rushing touchdowns. He also added 3 catches for 35 yards. Watson is a quick cutting back that possesses good speed and acceleration to the edge, flashes good start/stop ability and has good contact balance. Under the radar player that I believe is going to have a big season in 2023!
