Devin Gonzalez- Cypress Bay High c/o 25
6’0 170lbs
Gonzalez is the leading returning passer in the District after throwing for 1,177 yards, completing 55% of his passes with 18 touchdowns while leading the Lightning to a 6-5 record and a spot in the state playoffs in 2022. Gonzales also added 113 yards rushing and averaged over 7 yards per carry. Very athletic quarterback that throws naturally on the run, shows the arm strength and velocity to fit the ball through tight windows over the middle, and possesses impressive touch on downfield throws. He’s receiving interest from several schools.
Amir Callings- Coral Glades High c/o 24
6’3 190lbs
Callings is an intriguing player out of District 13, he doesn’t have any MaxPreps stats, but he possesses good size and length for the quarterback position. Versatile player that can play multiple positions and lined up as a tight end as well. Player to watch out for next season.
Marcus Jean-Baptiste- Taravella High c/o 25
6’0 185lbs
Jean-Baptiste is and under the radar player out of Taravella High. He was a bright spot offensively for the Trojans in 2022. He doesn’t have any MaxPreps stats, but on film he has a smooth delivery and a compact release, shows the ability to throw with good touch and ball placement on second and third level throws. Could be a surprise player in the district this season.
