Take a look at these prospects at were productive or showed potential this season on the field. Prep Redzone Florida will always promote everybody in hopes of them getting the opportunity of playing college football at the next level.
Jonathan Morillo- West Broward High c/o 24
6’2 180lbs
Morillo returns as the top quarterback in the district after leading the district in passing last season throwing for 2,628 yards, completing 58% of his passes with 22 touchdowns through the air. He also rushed for 60 yards in a touchdown. The All-State Honorable Mention selection guided the the Bobcats to a 6-5 record and into the state playoffs. Morillo is a talented under the radar quarterback that shows good timing and accuracy on intermediate routes, has the arm talent to rifle the ball over the middle in tight windows. Coaches need to check him out this spring.
Camden Hartzell- Somerset Academy c/o 25
6’0 180lbs
Hartzell was very good in 2022. He finished second in the district after throwing for 2,455 yards, completing an excellent 65% of his passes with 30 touchdowns! The two-year starter has thrown for over 3,800 yards and 45 touchdowns in two seasons. He also added 65 yards rushing and 3 touchdowns last season. Intelligent quarterback (3.5 GPA) that throws with nice anticipation and accuracy, throws with good ball placement at all three levels and shows very good mechanics.
Jordan Pidala- Flanagan High c/o 26
6’0 170lbs
Pidala split time with two other quarterbacks last season and ended finishing the season with 283 yards, completed 50% of his passes with a touchdown. Pidala looks to be the starter going into the spring and it appears the other two quarterbacks are not on the Flanagan roster any longer. Pidala could end up being one of the most improved players in the district in 2023, he’s a young quarterback that flashes good toughness, arm strength, and accuracy. I expect Pidala to make big strides coming into the spring. He’s also a good student that gets it done in the classroom with a 3.5 GPA.
