No other prep site brings you more prospects to check out than Prep Redzone Florida!
Tyray Davis- Wekiva High c/o 24
6’3 200lbs
Davis is the top returning passer in the district for the 2023 season after throwing for 1,410 yards, completing 54% of his passes with 7 touchdowns. He’s a dual threat prospect that can use his legs to beat you as well showing good vision and the patience to set up his blocks. He rushed for 482 yards on 44 carries, averaging 11 yards per carry with 6 touchdowns and one 100 yard rushing game. Davis possesses a good arm and can make all the necessary throws at all three levels of the field. Davis was an All-Conference selection last season and should be even better in 2023.
Michael Clayton– Edgewater High c/o 26
6’3 180lbs
Clayton is an intriguing prospect that flashes the ability to be a high level player this season as a rising sophomore. Clayton should step right in with the graduation of last season’s starter. Through eight games in a backup role Clayton passed for 347 yards, completing 64% of his passes with 6 touchdowns and a QB rating of 108.6. Clayton has the arm talent to throw from different platforms, can use his legs to buy time, he shows the athleticism to throw on the run, possesses a nice delivery and stays calm in the pocket. He’ll have Edgewater High in the hunt once again for a district title and a trip to the state playoffs.
Michael Dove- Horizon High c/o 25
6’1 180lbs
Dove is a two sport athlete (Track and Field) that led Horizon High to a 7-3 record in 2022. Dove isn’t asked to throw very often, but when he does he shows effectiveness and past for 347 yards and completed 50% of his passes with 4 touchdowns. Dove has a natural throwing motion and is especially effective throwing with timing and touch down the seam. He’s an under the radar player and I expect his production to double for the Hawks this season.
