Some of these players have a few offers, but all of them have the ability to play college football at some level.
John Hayes,WR- Trinity Catholic High c/o 24
5’8 160lbs
Hayes is a two sport athlete (Baseball) out of Trinity Catholic in Ocala, Florida. He’s had two productive seasons, however I expect his production to double going into a senior season after registering 11 catches for 159 yards, averaging 15 yards per catch with one touchdown. Hayes is a very versatile receiver that plays slot, but can also split out wide, shows the ability to track the ball in the air, has very good acceleration and speed to get on top of defensive backs quickly, shows the toughness and soft hands to be able to make catches in traffic. Under the radar player that I think is really going to have a big season.
Cybryon Peeples, DE/OLB- Hernando High c/o 24
6’2 238lbs
Peoples is an impressive athlete that plays both ways at TE/OLB for Hernando High. He’s a player whose stock is on the rise heading into spring. On the defensive side of the ball he finished the season with 74 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, 10 sacks, and 16 QB hurries! He’s one of the best edge players returning in the Tampa area. Peeples is disruptive, brings speed to power and shows good lateral agility to adjust and accelerate to the ball. He’s also an outstanding student with a 3.6 GPA.
Jeff Brown, SS- Terry Parker High c/o 24
5’8 170lbs
Brown was a tackling machine for Terry Parker High in 2022. The rising senior averaged over 12 tackles per game. He finished the season with 121 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, one sack, 2 ints, and 2 fumble recoveries. Has a nose for the football, flashes recovery speed and the ability to make plays on the ball in coverage.
Deshaun Speights, LB- Stanton College Prep c/o 25
5’9 205lbs
Speights is a two sport athlete (Baseball) out of Stanton Prep located in Jacksonville, Florida. Speights finish the season with 60 plus tackles, 8 tfls, 2 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, and one int. He’s a player that shows a lot of potential and will be a player that coaches should check out this spring. Speights is an in the box linebacker that does a good job reading his keys and can blow up plays in the backfield, and plays with good physicality and quickness. He’s also really good student with a 3.2 GPA.
