Stromstad is a big and physical defensive back that could see the transition to linebacker at the college level. He has a rare combination of size, speed and cover abilities while able to play at either of the back two levels. He breaks quickly to ball carriers, explodes through contact and has a natural feel for the game in space while seemingly always around the ball and creating turnovers.
Allen is a very hard hitting downhill safety that should transition to a hybrid safety/outside linebacker roll at the college level. He is a big time hitter in the open field taking good angles to the ball and quickly closing, while exploding through contact and a very sure tackler. He covers a ton of ground in the middle of the field and shows good hands/high point abilities as well. Strong at the POA, he can quickly redirect and has natural instcints while a natural at making big plays and creating turnovers. He checks in just outside the top 10 positional DB rankings and was one of the best defenders Arizona had to offer in 2022. He is headed to state ASU, and should be a successful player at that level.
Another Southern Utah defensive back signee from the desert, the talented ’23 defender is a very smooth player with elite ball skills and return abilities. Very worthy of moving up our initial rankings, Manzanarez put together a special Senior season and was one of the states best while moving up to number sixteen in our final 2023 rankings. Committing to SOU back in January, he should make an impact at the FCS level and talent wise, fits in well at the Big Sky level.
Snowden is one of the more under-rated players across the state in the 2023 class and took a recent visit to Minot State, which he will make a big impact at if he chooses to sign with them. He has good size for the position, fluid hips in transition while baiting signal callers into bad throws and flashes elite COD/closing speed near the ball. He is a FCS caliber kid that has been flying under the radar and will be a steal at the next level.
