In the years past we have seen stars like Micah Parsons come through and many others. The 2024 class is shaping up to continue that trend with several players. Part of this success was Bishop McDevitt and Steelton-Highspire both won state titles last year and are bringing back much of the talent on both teams.
Rico Scott Rico Scott 6'0" | 185 lbs | WR Bishop McDevitt | 2024 State PA Bishop McDevitt. Scott is one of the most dynamic wide receivers in the state of Pennsylvania. He is very explosive any time he touches the ball. You can throw him a bubble screen and every time the defense has to hold their breath to make sure he doesn’t break a tackle and take to the house. The other part of his game that is excellent is his ability to go get the deep balls. Several times I saw in tight coverages he went out and made a play on the ball against good defensive players. Scott helped McDevitt win a state title last year and they will have a chance to win a 2nd one in the 2023 season. Scott looks like a high division 1 player who has lots of offers.

Andrew Erby Jr Andrew Erby Jr 6'3" | 285 lbs | DL Steelton Highspire | 2024 PA . Steelton-Highspire. Erby is a difference making offensive lineman in the 2024 class. He won a State Championship with his twin brother Alex and his dad Andrew head coach at Steelton. One of the most impressive parts of Erby’s game is how athletic he is. Several times on film Steelton ran running plays where Erby pulled. He pulled and kicked out defensive ends, went up field and blocked linebacker and occasionally even dominated defensive backs when he got one on one blocks. Erby is 6’3″ and plays with a big guy mindset. He is also developing as a very good pass blocker. He is expected to get several Division 1 offers and recently gained offers from University of Penn, Liberty and Appalachian State.

Alex Erby Alex Erby 6'4" | 210 lbs | QB Steelton-Highspire | 2024 State PA Steelton-Highspire. Alex the twin brother of Andrew Jr. and son of Andrew Sr. who is Steelton’s head coach. Alex has great size for the quarterback position. Being 6’4″ like him is a huge advantage to have. Alex can make all the throws. On his film you see him complete deep balls, intermediate throws, and check downs as well. Also when the play breaks down that is where he can excel. He is able to scramble around and make plays with his feet. Just like his brother Alex has a legit chance to be a division 1 player and with a strong senior year he should be able to put himself in a good spot to pick a college of his choice.
Aubrey Carter Aubrey Carter 6'2" | 275 lbs | DL Susquehanna Township | 2024 State PA Susquehanna Township. Carter is a talented defensive lineman who is super quick off the ball. Looking at his film his get off and the way he uses his hands is very good. Having violent hands then using them to rip through offensive lineman is imperative and Aubrey does this very well. The other part of his game is he has a high motor. Several times on film he has chased down quarterbacks and ball carriers. Impressive closing speed for a defensive lineman. He needs to continue to work on pass rushing moves, because providing interior pressure is so important in football. He recently got his 1st division 1 offer from Connecticut, which should be the 1st of many. I expect him to continue to get offers this off season and into the season.

Jaire Rawlison Jaire Rawlison 5'10" | 180 lbs | DB Bishop McDevitt | 2024 State PA Bishop McDevitt. Yes another McDevitt kid. They are loaded as a program right now and Rawlinson is just as good as any defensive back you will see in the state. A true ball hawk defensive player who I saw several times on film make an interception and then return it for a touchdown. He is a type of player that is always looking to make a play. An example of this is he several times created fumbles on kick off. I think he is especially deadly at slot corner where he can blitz, cover quicker guys or set the edge. The other thing he can do is he has great hips and he can turn in run with the best wide receivers. Rawlison is an elite defensive back that will make a college coach very happy. He has recently been offered by Central Michigan and Howard University.

Michael Blidi Michael Blidi 6'2" | 220 lbs | DL Milton Hershey | 2024 State PA Milton Hershey. A late bloomer who only recently got added to our site Blidi is a very good athlete that is a true hybrid player. He can play an outside linebacker of the ball player and he is good at it. He can drop in coverage and play the flat very well. The other position he can play is a stand up defensive end. He is such a good athlete that he can play the edge well against the run and pass. Several times on film I saw him set the edge and then come down and make plays. He has long arms and when he gets near a pass he can knock it down or when he pressures the quarterback he can deflect the pass. Blidi has a chance to play at the next level and the sky’s the limit for him.
