Some of these players have a few offers, but all of them have the ability to play college football at some level.
Wyatt Milks, LB- LaBelle High c/o 25
5’8 180lbs
Milks is it two sport athlete out of LaBelle High. He chipped in on both sides of the ball last season for the Cowboys, on offense he had 2 carries for 20 yards with a touchdown, on the defensive side of the ball is where he really excelled. The rising Junior led the team with 64 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 1 sack, 6 QB hurries, and 2 passes defensed. I expect Milks to build on last seasons success and have an even better season in 2023. Milks is a very quick defender that uses really good short area acceleration to get to the football. Solid tackler.
Jonathan Tumblin, ATH/LB- Sebastian River High c/o 24
6’0 205lbs
Tumblin is a two sport athlete (Basketball) out of Sebastian River High. He was a major bright spot for the Sharks last season excelling on both sides of the ball. On the offensive side of the ball he led the team in rushing with 202 yards, averaging 6.5 yards per carry with one touchdown and one 100 rushing game. On the defensive side of the ball he led the team with 61 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, and 3 sacks. Very versatile player that can play on either side of the ball the next level, physical backer that’s not afraid of contact and plays downhill, shows good acceleration to the football, and does a good job sifting through traffic to get to the ball carrier. Tumblin is also a good student with a 3.4 GPA.
Charlie Tack, LB/ATH- Out-of-Door Academy c/o 24
6’1 220lbs
Tack was a solid player last season for the Thunder. He was part of a stout defense that guided Out-of-Door Academy to a 9-1 record and into the second round of the SSAC 5A state playoffs. Tack contributed on both sides of the ball rushing for 25 yards and two touchdowns while on the defensive side of the ball he led the team with 62 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, 5 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles. Tack was an All-State selection and will be a player to watch out for next season. Versatile player with good size and ability, has sideline to sideline range, does a good job timing the snap to shoot gaps.
Drake Saltarelli, LB- Osceola High c/o 24
6’1 200lbs
Saltarelli was a major contributor and stood out for a stout defense that only allowed 137 points all season! He finished the season with 64 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, a team leading 12 QB hurries, 1 int, and 2 fumble recoveries. He comes from a football family (Brother is a TE at Western Kentucky), shows good instincts and awareness, versatile player that can line up in multiple positions. He’s also a very good student with a 3.8 GPA.
