Mahki Gray
Mahki Gray
Gray’s generated D-I offers and interest as the top returning WR for Lincoln’s 2022 state-championship team. He’s an athletic playmaker with an appealing skillset in the vertical passing game. He operated on the perimeter and out of the slot as a junior and would likely move to a full-time slot role at the next level given his size at 5’9”/150. He’s a precise route-runner that sets up DBs and moves quick and efficient out of his breaks. Gray’s picked up offers from Utah St., Nevada and Colorado St. in 2023.

Jeremiah Castillo Jeremiah Castillo 5'10" | 170 lbs | WR Mt. Miguel | 2024 State CA
Castillo was San Diego’s most productive junior WR last season with 70 catches for 1300 yards and 24 TDs. He’s a high-volume vertical threat that excels at finding and creating space at the second/third levels. He sells hard on double moves and uses precise, deliberate breaks to separate. He finishes plays with soft hands and tracks the ball downfield extremely well. Castillo picked up his first D-I offer from Northern Colorado in January.
Joshua Ball
Joshua Ball
Ball was the second-leading receiver for the most productive passing attack in San Diego last season. He totaled 49 catches for 800 yards and 8 TDs as a junior. He’s a loose, twitchy athlete with plus-side speed and change-of-direction. He’s elusive after-the-catch with ability to make defenders miss in tight spaces and breakaway speed at the second level. He’s a versatile weapon on offense that can make impact plays from multiple positions. Ball transferred from San Marcos to Carlsbad in January where he figures to be one of the top options for QB Julian Sayin Julian Sayin 6'1" | 195 lbs | QB Carlsbad | 2024 State CA next season.
Highlights
Brown was the leading receiver for Mira Mesa as a junior totaling 54 catches for 800 yards and 7 TDs. He’s a natural playmaker with the ball in his hands that can make an impact as a WR and return specialist. He tends to lean towards being a body-catcher but absorbs the ball and can extend his radius with strong hands. He shows good burst/speed as a route-runner and toughness catching in traffic over the middle of the field. Brown and fellow junior Tyson Line Tyson Line 6'3" | 195 lbs | QB Mira Mesa | 2024 State CA will be a QB-WR duo to watch in San Diego this season.
Highlights
Williams is an under-the-radar WR prospect on one of the top programs in San Diego. He’s a strong hands-catcher that can work the sidelines and the back of the end zone effectively. He’s a reliable target in the shallow area on crossers/slants and can serve as a valuable possession receiver at the next level. He’s a high-effort, physical blocker that can seal lanes on the perimeter. Williams has seen some interest at the Mountain West level so far.
Highlights
Rosenbloom presents physical upside at 6’5”/195 as the top returning WR for Carlsbad QB Julian Sayin Julian Sayin 6'1" | 195 lbs | QB Carlsbad | 2024 State CA . He’s still growing into his body and developing athletically but possesses the raw size and ball skills to be a perimeter mismatch at the next level. He was most impactful in the shallow areas and as a goal line fade threat in the red zone last season. Rosenbloom could be a major stock-riser if he puts athletic development and production on tape this season.
Scott flashed natural skill and ability playing in limited roles behind MDC’s talented cast of senior playmakers. He was effective in the screen game as a junior, showing athleticism and savvy with the ball in his hands. He’s a physical stalk blocker on the perimeter that can seal lanes in the run/screen game. Scott can put himself on the radar with solid production and continued skill development in a likely increased role as a senior.
