Continue ReadingNate is an explosive linebacker who uses his hands well at the point of attack and is not afraid to strike. As a sophomore, he has shown fearlessness and above-average physical ability to play at the varsity level. Nate will be an impact player for St Ed’s in 2023, as Gregory also is having a phenomenal offseason on the mats for the Eagles. Nate is a first-team All-State-type athlete, a player whose stock will rise. Expect his recruitment to pick up over the next year and to hear his name all fall.
Grayson is a big-frame wide receiver, and as a 2026 prospect, he has a lot of room to grow his game. His ball skills are phenomenal for a receiver his age, and he played above average for a freshman last year. I got a chance to watch Grayson the previous year at a 7-on-7 tournament in Florida, and I was very impressed with his skillset as an eighth grader. His freshman film displays everything you like out of a future division-one wide receiver.

Wiley is a budding star in the state of Ohio. Jackson is an elusive young football player that knows how to create separation and has excellent hand coordination when the ball is in the air. Jackson is a crafty Runner, as one man does not always tackle him; it takes a couple to bring them down. Along with his ability to break free, he understands how to get to the open space on the field, which is a massive bonus in the IQ Department. Having the structure from crucial, and with his dad being a former OSU buckeye, you know that he will be ready for the highest level, and it shows. Current scholarship offers Toledo and Kentucky.

Noah is an experienced varsity football player who has improved his gameplay. When you turn on the film, you see a kid playing at a different speed. Noah is Twitchy, quick and explosive when coming out of stands on the defensive side of the football; he knows how to use his hands well to shrug off blocks and has quick enough feet to blow past the offensive lineman if he doesn’t get set quick enough no one makes a lot of plays in the backfield which is why he received honorable mention all-state as a junior you can imagine this year Noah is going to be a first teamer with the development that Patterson has so far this offseason. Noah will line up as an end or a tackle based on the game plan, and he’s physical enough to do both jobs. Before the 2022 season, Patterson had lost a little weight, but now has gained it all back and getting much more robust for the Ironton tigers. Noah will be an intriguing prospect to watch this offseason; keep an eye on Patterson as he will move the needle in recruiting in Southeast Ohio. Big frame, athletic and tough, it’s all there!

Ben is an exciting prospect that I had to chance to watch over the past few weeks at the 419 Football Club. Only a little film on him from last season from JV, so the jury is still out on what it looks like in the live gameplay, but this player is twofold. Ben is a solidly built athlete from many athletes in his family tree. Ben’s mother is a former college volleyball player, and the men in his family all played and coached college and high school football. Ben is a QB by trade and does a decent job throwing the ball on air and in competition drills; he has good power and spin. I asked Ben to play TE/WR for the last rep at the camp, and he did not disappoint; his post route was clean, and he used his hands and feet well to create space and caught the ball with his eyes. Ben is an all-around athlete and will have a breakout year as he continues to showcase his skillset.
