The February edition of National Signing Day brought with it plenty of prospects that signed over the past week. Many across the Natural State are still in the process of signing letters of intent because of the winter weather. We are going to look at prospects that have signed as well as prospects making visits and receiving scholarship offers over the past week. Let's start our week with some recruiting news and notes.

[player_tooltip player_id='75127' first='Shamar' last='Easter']-Tight End-Ashdown-2023

Easter is one of the most impressive prospects in the state over the past three years. The Ashdown tight end does everything ask of him in the offense including blocking for his teammates. The athletic ability that Easter has makes him a difficult prospect to cover for opposing defensive backs and linebackers. Easter is a threat in the red zone and does an impressive job of being able to high point the football. Easter has signed his national letter of intent to attend the University of Arkansas.

[player_tooltip player_id='149571' first='Walker' last='White']-Quarterback-Little Rock Christian-2024

The Natural State over the next few seasons has a large number of talented signal callers coming up through the ranks. White has a strong arm and is not afraid to test opposing defenses with his arm. Another facet of his game is his ability to scramble and pick up yards on the ground using his legs. White has the potential to have another strong season in 2023. However, White placed his commitment with the Auburn Tigers a few days ago after sorting down to a final three of Clemson, Auburn, and Baylor. Congratulations go out to White on his commitment.

[player_tooltip player_id='240083' first='Jalen' last='Dupree']-Running Back-Malvern-2024

The Malvern running back is setting the stage to have a strong senior season in 2023. Dupree is a running back that just gets better the more touches he gets. He is an impressive receiver out of the backfield and would cause plenty of headaches for opposing defensive coordinators in the future. Over the past week, the talented Malvern running back earned a scholarship offer from the Tulsa Golden Hurricane. Dupree has the potential to make plenty of noise on Saturdays in the future.

Marquaze Parker-Defensive Line-West Memphis-2024

Marquaze Parker is starting to open plenty of eyes. He is a defensive lineman that explodes out of the stance and has a number of pass rush moves to get into the opposing backfield. Parker has the mix of power and strength needed to disrupt the opposing offensive backfield. Over the past couple of weeks, Parker has seen his recruiting explode. Parker has earned scholarship offers from Arkansas-Pine Bluff and UNLV over the past few weeks. Parker is a prospect that folks will want to keep an eye on as the offseason continues.

[player_tooltip player_id='221259' first='Cash' last='Archer']-Linebacker-Greenwood-2025

Archer is a versatile defensive prospect that has played all along the defensive front for the Greenwood Bulldogs. He has good speed and is able to defeat blocks quickly. Archer uses a good mix of strength and speed to get into the offensive backfield. Scholarship offers are starting to roll in for the talented Greenwood defensive prospect. Barry Odom and his UNLV staff extended Archer a scholarship offer on Monday. Archer has the potential to have a big season in 2023 and is a prospect to keep an eye on over the next few months.

[player_tooltip player_id='181497' first='Preston' last='Davis']-Linebacker-Little Rock Christian-2024

The state of Arkansas has talented linebackers in several classes. One of the best in the state is Little Rock Christian's [player_tooltip player_id='181497' first='Preston' last='Davis']. Davis is all over the field for Little Rock Christian. He uses his speed well and has no problem getting into the opposing offensive backfield. Davis is a linebacker that has racked up plenty of tackles over the past two years and I look for him to have an even stronger season in 2023. The Little Rock Christian prospect earned a scholarship offer from UNLV over the past few days.

[player_tooltip player_id='202575' first='Kane' last='Archer']-Quarterback-Greenwood-2026

Greenwood has produced a number of talented quarterbacks over the past 10 years. The next in the series is [player_tooltip player_id='202575' first='Kane' last='Archer']. Archer displayed what he could do last season in several games for the Bulldogs. He has a strong arm and has accuracy needed to connect with his wide receivers in-stride. Archer earned a scholarship offer from UNLV earlier in the week. Archer has the potential to have a strong 2023 season and I look for the scholarship offers to continue to roll in for the talented Greenwood signal caller.
