Let's take a closer look at some recently committed players from the DMV.

2023 6'6 225 WR - [player_tooltip player_id='90682' first='Nyckoles' last='Harbor'] - Archbishop Carroll - South Carolina

[player_tooltip player_id='90682' first='Nyckoles' last='Harbor']'s commitment decision was definitely one of the most highly anticipated and nationally recognized commitments in recent memory. The South Carolina Gamecocks have assembled a top 20 recruiting class in 2023, and there's no doubt that signing a five star superstar like [player_tooltip player_id='90682' first='Nyckoles' last='Harbor'] will move USC up in the recruitment rankings. Harbor's impact on offense will be felt immediately in Columbia, SC, and he will absolutely make the Gamecocks more competitive offensively, especially if he can develop early chemistry early-on with Spencer Rattler. [player_tooltip player_id='90682' first='Nyckoles' last='Harbor'] is a game changing player, and my way too early prediction is that Harbor and Rattler form an instant connection and quickly develop into a dynamic quarterback-receiver tandem that puts the entire SEC on notice in 2023. [player_tooltip player_id='90682' first='Nyckoles' last='Harbor'] is dominant in every sense of the word, and he's going to prove it instantly with USC. Gamecock nation should be extremely excited with his commitment!

2023 5'7 175 RB - [player_tooltip player_id='90676' first='Devin' last='Roche'] - Dunbar - Old Dominion

Three star playmaker and All-American, [player_tooltip player_id='90676' first='Devin' last='Roche'], dominated running the football this past season. Roche accumulated more than 1,500 yards rushing, and he averaged more than 150 yards per game which put him above the national average in both statistical categories. [player_tooltip player_id='90676' first='Devin' last='Roche'] can make a huge impact early during his time at Old Dominion, and he'll get the chance to face elite nationally ranked competition with the Monarchs. His speed, strength, physicality, and toughness will make him an instant factor in ODU's backfield depth chart, and there's zero doubt in my mind that [player_tooltip player_id='90676' first='Devin' last='Roche'] will become the go-to guy on offense during his time at ODU.

2023 5'11 185 RB - [player_tooltip player_id='90681' first='Brendon' last='Wyatt'] - DeMatha - Merrimack College

[player_tooltip player_id='90681' first='Brendon' last='Wyatt']'s overall performance running the football during the season was one of the best displays of running back play that we saw in the nation this past year. His elite rush attack led the charge on offense for the DeMatha Stags in the WCAC playoffs, and he also played his best football during playoff time. While the Stags fell just short of the title, Wyatt played the best season of his career, and he played championship caliber football in the most competitive conference in the nation. [player_tooltip player_id='90681' first='Brendon' last='Wyatt'] will make an instant impact on the Merrimack College football program and his elite ball carrying ability is going to help win them a bunch of football games in the near future.

2023 5'10 165 WR - [player_tooltip player_id='184009' first='Mekhi' last='Workman'] - St. Frances Academy - Saint Francis

In 2022, [player_tooltip player_id='184009' first='Mekhi' last='Workman'] and his SFA Panthers team nearly achieved a perfect season and the coveted #1 overall ranking to end the season. It was an incredible season all around for Workman, and he averaged nearly 30 receiving yards per game as a result. He scored multiple clutch touchdowns for the Panthers as well, and his game always seemed to shine brightest during the 4th quarter this season. Saint Francis is getting a very elite pass catcher and route runner in [player_tooltip player_id='184009' first='Mekhi' last='Workman'], and he will definitely be a star for their program. Everyone must remember the name [player_tooltip player_id='184009' first='Mekhi' last='Workman'] because he is truly a special talent.

2023 6'1 185 WR - [player_tooltip player_id='247536' first='Sean' last='Williams'] - St. John's - Maryland

[player_tooltip player_id='247536' first='Sean' last='Williams'] has been St. John's most consistent and reliable pass catcher for the past four seasons. The Maryland Terrapin commit averaged a whopping 14.5 yards per reception in 2022, and he also hauled-in more than 600 yards receiving to go along with 4 touchdowns. [player_tooltip player_id='247536' first='Sean' last='Williams']' commitment means that UMD has a very bright future on the offensive side of the ball, especially considering that the UMD program is known for producing NFL quality receivers. I believe that this commitment is a perfect fit for both [player_tooltip player_id='247536' first='Sean' last='Williams'] and the University of Maryland, and there's no question that [player_tooltip player_id='247536' first='Sean' last='Williams'] will make them more competitive offensively in the BIG10 over the next four seasons and beyond. Terps nation must be ecstatic with the commitment of 3 star recruit [player_tooltip player_id='247536' first='Sean' last='Williams']!

2023 6'1 185 WR - [player_tooltip player_id='251380' first='Maxwell' last='Moss'] - Archbishop Spalding - James Madison

In my opinion, [player_tooltip player_id='251380' first='Maxwell' last='Moss'] played a more dominant season than any other wide receiver in the nation in 2022. He hauled-in a state leading 21 touchdowns land nearly 1,500 yards receiving in the Fall, and he's also currently a finalist for Maryland Impact Player of the Year. The JMU passing game will instantly improve with Moss on the field, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him get a lot of playing time in his first few seasons. [player_tooltip player_id='251380' first='Maxwell' last='Moss'] is definitely a next level commitment for the Dukes, and all of JMU nation better get ready to get on their feet for [player_tooltip player_id='251380' first='Maxwell' last='Moss'] touchdowns!
