Spears sets with a wide base, has the requisite core strength and plays with natural balance, capable of sitting back and handling power.
MaGee has a strong, flexible core, and the ability to absorb and anchor against the bull rush as a pass protector. He has strong arms and a powerful grip, and MaGee displays the core strength and leg drive that allow him to create movement at the line of scrimmage. Showing some nastiness to his game, he will sustain blocks through the whistle, thriving when he’s in the phone booth.
Fielder exhibits good patience in pass protection, sitting back in his set rather than leaning and lunging. Understands angles and plays with good leverage. Fielder has long arms and heavy hands, using them effectively in pass protection, and he has a strong enough initial punch to get an edge on quick sets.
