The 5 linebackers in this review have displayed the skills to fight through blocks, shutting down outside running plays, and disrupting plays before they develop. <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='447908' first='Cross' last='Killen'] - 5'10" 200 (No. 26 LB, No. 191 Overall), Charlotte Christian School</strong>. Cross displayed good lateral movement and quickness to close in on ball carrier for stops. He finished the season with 167 total tackles, 15 which were for losses. He had 94 solo tackles during the season. Cross averaged 12.8 tackles per game during the season. He broke the school record for tackles in a season. He was the conference's leading tackler. Cross finished the season tied for third in the state for tackles. The recruiting interest is expected to pick up for him.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='428259' first='Thomas' last='Orrell'] - 5'10" 190 (No. 27 LB, No. 192 Overall), Northwest Guilford HS</strong>. Thomas displayed good lateral movement and speed to cover a lot of ground quickly to make stops. He displayed good technique in controlling blockers while moving past them for stops. Thomas finished the season with 44 total tackles, 3.5 which were for losses. He had 24 solo tackles during the season. He will continue to improve his skillset as he gains valuable playing experience. The recruiting interest is expected to pick up for him.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='464268' first='Lukas' last='Santwier'] - 5'10" 185 (No. 28 LB, No. 193 Overall), Providence Day HS</strong>. Lukas displayed good lateral movement and the ability to read the play and quickly get to the ball carrier for stops. Lukas finished the season with 111 total tackles, 3 which were for losses. He had 48 solo tackles during the season. He averaged 8.5 tackles per game during the season. The recruiting interest is expected to pick up for him.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='429230' first='Jay' last='Jackson'] - 6'1" 225 (No. 29 LB, No. 194 Overall), North Stanly HS</strong>. Jay displayed good lateral movement and speed to cover ground quickly to make stops. Jay finished the season with 33 total tackles. He had 15 solo tackles during the season. Jay will continue to improve his skillset as he gains valuable playing experience. Jay's participation in Summer Prospect Camps will generate recruiting interest for him.</p>
