<p>I am doing a review of defensive linemen who have received some or no written coverage. The 5 defensive linemen in this review have displayed the skills to fight through being double-teamed, shutting down inside running plays, and disrupting plays before they develop. The 5 defensive linemen are overdue for recognition for their performances on the field.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='355046' first='Donovan' last='Dozier'] - 6'3" 235 (No. 48 DL, No. 371 Overall), Cardinal Gibbons HS</strong>. Donovan displayed good technique and good use of hands to control blockers as he moved past them for stops. He was quick out of his stance to make contact with blockers, often going unblocked. Donovan finished the season with 39 total tackles, 10 which were for losses. He had 31 solo tackles during the season. Donovan was one of the leaders and a steady performer on one of the state's top defensive units.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='387408' first='Elijah' last='Mickle'] - 6'1" 270 (No. 49 DL, No. 389 Overall), Leesville Road HS</strong>. Elijah displayed good technique and good use of hands to control blockers, while moving past for stops. He displayed quickness along with upper body strength to control while closing in on stops. He moved well in tight spaces to shut down the inside running plays. Elijah finished the season with 26 total tackles, 6.5 which were for losses.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='428440' first='Nick' last='Martin'] - 6'2" 220 (No. 51 DL, No. 394 Overall), East Forsyth HS</strong>. Nick displayed quickness out of his stance to quickly moving past blockers, sometimes unblocked. He displayed good technique and good use of hands to control blockers, while moving past for stops. Nick finished the season with 91 total tackles, 33 which were for losses. He had 47 solo tackles during the season. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='428441' first='Nathan' last='Martin'] - 6'1" 190 (No. 52 DL, No. 395 Overall), East Forsyth HS</strong>. Nathan displayed quickness out of his stance to move past blockers for stops. He displayed good technique and speed to close quickly on the ball carrier for stops. Nathan finished the season with 50 total tackles, 17 which were for losses. He had 30 solo tackles during the season.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='595742' first='Ty' last='Kauserud'] - 6'5" 220 (No. 53 DL, Watchlist), Apex Friendship HS</strong>. Ty displayed good technique and use of hands to control blockers, while moving past to make stops. He displayed speed to cover ground quickly to close in on ball carriers. Ty finished the season with 54 total tackles, 7 which were for losses. He had 19 solo tackles during the season.</p>
