Irwin is going to start his third season for the Storm as has improved every single year. Irwin might not be your typical 6’3 or taller prototype but he plays with a savvy that many his age do not possess. He shows extreme poise in the pocket with the ability to process what is happening quickly. He shows the ability to really dissect coverages and beat defenses no matter the look. Has a quick trigger that allows him to get the ball on time while giving his receivers the ability to run after the catch. Can layer his throws in the second level and beat linebackers and safeties in the intermediate parts of the field. Has really good timing and touch down the field giving his receivers a chance to go get the football. Where he really excels is in the off schedule throws as his athletic ability allows him to make plays outside of the pocket. Has a good speed that allows him to beat teams with his legs and pick up huge gains on the ground. As he progresses into his final season dont be shocked if he is tops in the state in almost every quarterback statistically category.
Willis stands tall in the pocket with a really smooth delivery that allows him to throw a very accurate catchable football. His smooth release allows him to make all the throws on the football field and the ball really explodes out of his hand. You can see on film that he really can get a lot of RPMs on the football but shows the ability to layer his throws all over the field. Really has a good feel in the pocket for when to set up or uses his legs to escape. A plus athletes that shows the ability to make plays with his legs even if he is not described as a runner. Has a unique feel on avoiding the rush with his ability to pump fake, extended plays and change arm angles. One thing that jumps out on tape is his ability to throw on the run where he shows the ability to be hyper accurate at all three levels. Has elite arm strength and can really push the ball down the field. He had a huge junior year and the expectation going into his senior season is sky high. Should be one to watch all season long.
Hymas is your true dual threat in the class of 2024 for the state of Idaho. He has the ability to take the football to the house with his legs on every play. Really has a feel of a running back with the way that he is able to read holes and running lanes. His progression as passer has markedly improve from his sophomore year where he has started to develop his timing and ability to anticipate receivers in and out of their breaks. He shows the ability to get the ball out quickly and give his receivers a chance to catch the football at every level. He is showing the ability to process coverages and has good timing on the deep ball. Where his next step is coming is in the intermediate that place over the linebackers and under the safeties. His ability to espace the pocket is elite along with his playmaking abilities. Hymas really is a nightmare for opposing defenses as he can beat you with both his arm and his legs.

As he progresses into his senior year his ability to diagnose coverages will become even more evident. His ability to throw on the run along with the off platform throws is something the really separates him from his peers. His does have good running ability and with his big frame he can be really hard to bring down. This is one to really watch moving into the season as his numbers might be some of the best in the state.
