Our Film Review series of 2024, 2025 and 2026 prospects from the Carolinas Stock Up Showcase continues this week with a quarterback who can sling it in play action passing situations and a wide receiver who can make plays on the outside.

Harrison is a two-way player that can make an impact on the game. Yes, he’s a young guy but any quarterback who can make plays on the zone read is one that you’ll want to look out for. He can turn it up field quickly and get extra yardage. At linebacker, like we saw at the Showcase back in January, his ball skills are impressive to where he can jump a route and pick it off, like we saw on his film.
Magin plays in a split back, wing-T offense at TL Hanna and you would think there wouldn’t be much passing going on, right? You’d be wrong. He can sling it all over the yard on play action fakes as the defense is concentrated on stopping the run. Magin has an impressive arm that can take the top off the coverage, mainly in one-on-one situations. The Yellow Jackets will get in the gun at times and he showed the ability to roll out and get a quick five to 10 yard completion.
Mashtare is a great fit for the run heavy, option offense that Landrum runs. Where they have him lined up creates mismatches for opponents. Not only can he beat you on the outside with his speed on jet sweeps, particularly to the left like we saw on his film but they’ll send him up the pike in the play action passing game and he can catch it over multiple defenders.
Mayrant (pictured above) lines up at the receiver position flexed on the outside and knows what to do with the ball in his hands. He has great size for the position and great hands. Many times for him it’s a 10 to 15 yard completion that can turn into a lot more with him. Or in other cases, he can beat his man one-on-one and make contested catches.
