Which are seeing their stock rise on the recruiting trail?
Let’s take a look…
Jiquavious “Quavo” Marshall – ATH – Westside
A big-time up and coming prospect in Macon, Marshall is a speedy athlete with a long, lengthy frame and the ability to make plays on both sides of the ball at wide receiver and defensive back. At 6-foot-5 and 185-pounds, Marshall has finally started to see his recruitment take off thanks to his frame, speed, ball skills, and an excellent junior season on both sides of the ball. On offense, the big-play wideout showed off his speed and reliable hands on a weekly basis, catching 35 passes for 548 yards and six touchdowns. He’s a vertical threat and has no problem laying out to catch a big pass down the field. As a defender, the Middle Georgia standout made 31 tackles, two INTs and broke up seven more passes. He’s an easy D1 talent and saw recent offers come his way from Georgia Southern, Liberty, Arkansas State, UAB, and Middle Tennessee State. Look for more to come his way very soon.
Travis Terrell JR Travis Terrell JR 5'10" | 165 lbs | DB Mays | 2024 State GA – ATH – Creekside
A versatile running back with quickness, burst, and elusiveness, Terrell Jr was a big-play waiting to happen for a very good Creekside squad last year as a junior. The 5-foot-9 165-pounder may be on the smaller side, but he has enough speed and explosiveness to fly past defenders down the field. He shows quick feet, good vision, and the ability to follow his blocks and find a hole to run through. As a runner last season, he rushed 88 times in a backup role and took off for 850 yards and 10 touchdowns. He averaged an impressive 9.7 yards per carry and should be bound for a monster season as a senior in 2023. He was also dependable as a pass-catcher out of the backfield, catching 28 passes for 392 yards and four touchdowns. He shows soft hands, and once he has the ball, he turns into a weapon running the football. He flashed D1 talent all season long as a junior and has seen new offers come his way from UCONN, South Florida, James Madison, among others.
Noah Prior – TE – Athens Academy
One of the more underrated tight ends in Georgia, Prior is a hybrid type of tight end who can make plays in a number of different ways. He’s a good athlete for his size at 6-foot-5 235-pounds and can be tough to tackle with the ball in his hands. He’s a tough, physical blocker in the run game who uses his strength to his advantage and plays with good pad control, giving him the ability to lock onto defenders and drive them backwards. He’s a weapon anywhere he’s lined up and knows how to take an ed-around off the edge as a runner. He’s a big target in the passing game and can stretch the field vertically when needed. He shows strong, reliable hands and tough to bring down by just one defender. Whether he’s blocking in the run game or catching passes, Prior is able to make an impact on any particular play, and college coaches are starting to notice. He’s starting to see some D1 offers come his way and he earned a new one this week from Eastern Michigan.
