Let's take a closer look at some of the standout quarterbacks from the Fall season who still remain uncommitted.

2023 6'0 190 QB - [player_tooltip player_id='90654' first='Carson' last='Petitbon'] - St. Mary's Annapolis

[player_tooltip player_id='90654' first='Carson' last='Petitbon'] and the Saint Mary's Saints didn't lose a game in 2022. A large amount of the credit for the Saints' undefeated streak belongs to Petitbon's dual-threat ability, and the reason for that is offensive efficiency. [player_tooltip player_id='90654' first='Carson' last='Petitbon'] clinched clutch first downs and touchdowns with both his hands and his feet during his career at Saint Mary's. He surpassed the 1,000 yard mark in both rushing and passing, and his touchdown to interception ratio was a spectacular 15:1. There's simply no denying his immense overall skill and high football IQ, therefore it's essential that he at least get an opportunity to compete for a quarterback position at the next level. As one Quarterback Factory coach said about [player_tooltip player_id='90654' first='Carson' last='Petitbon'], “The college program that gets you is getting a diamond!”

2023 6'2 230 QB - [player_tooltip player_id='90665' first='Ashton' last='Gaddis'] - Poolesville

The Senior Captain and quarterback for Poolesville, [player_tooltip player_id='90665' first='Ashton' last='Gaddis'], led the Falcons to a solid 7-3 overall record in 2022, and he did so in a Montgomery County football environment with a lot of high pressure and intensity. Standing over six feet and weighing in at nearly 250 lbs, Gaddis is an absolute force to be reckoned with and he's nearly impossible to bring down in the backfield. His distance and accuracy on his deep ball both really stand out when you watch him play, and, to be frank, he absolutely launches the football down the field on long pass plays. There's zero doubt in my mind that [player_tooltip player_id='90665' first='Ashton' last='Gaddis'] has what it takes to pay QB1 at the collegiate level, and there's no good reason that he should remain uncommitted going into the Summer. He has a high ceiling, and whoever takes a chance on him could very easily be getting a next level game changer.

2023 6'6 220 QB - [player_tooltip player_id='246841' first='Cortney' last='Davis'] - Wise

[player_tooltip player_id='246841' first='Cortney' last='Davis'] achieved All-County honors in the Fall, and he also dominated across the stat sheet. Davis accumulated 1,846 total yards in 2022, and he also accounted for 29 total touchdowns with a cumulative average QBR of 117.2. Davis led his Wise squad to a #2 overall ranking in Prince George's County and an undefeated record in their road games. [player_tooltip player_id='246841' first='Cortney' last='Davis']' Senior season was most certainly his best one yet, and it's safe to say that he finished his final high school football campaign on top. Davis has offers from college programs such as Fairmount State, Warner, and Stevenson University. I am eagerly awaiting his commitment, and scouts everywhere should be as well given that he's a phenomenal young quarterback with a ton of upside.

2023 6'0 175 QB - [player_tooltip player_id='358199' first='Miles' last='Scott'] - Atholton

[player_tooltip player_id='358199' first='Miles' last='Scott'] earned All-HCPSS 1st Team QB honors for his elite performance in the Fall, and he also won the Offensive Player of the Year Award in the same county. Scott led Atholton to an undefeated regular season, and he accumulated 1,781 total yards and 22 total touchdowns on the way. His dual threat style of play out of the read-option will bode very well for him at the next level, and his ability to throw on the run is already off the charts for his age. [player_tooltip player_id='358199' first='Miles' last='Scott'] possesses an offer from Morehouse College, but, after the elite season he just put forth, I wouldn't be surprised if more offers roll in for Scott. He's most definitely a collegiate level quarterback, and he has a lot of athleticism combined with solid arm strength.

2023 6'1 190 QB - [player_tooltip player_id='209693' first='Rhys' last='Staley'] - St. James

[player_tooltip player_id='209693' first='Rhys' last='Staley'] has phenomenal arm talent, and, if a scout out there can convince him, they might just be able to get him to play collegiate football rather than baseball. Staley contributed heavily to a winning St. James program in 2022, and he was also at the helm as the primary game manager for every game throughout the season. He showed promise in scrambling situations, but where he flourished was throwing the ball outside the pocket on the run. While he might be a long term investment, I think it's wise for a scout somewhere to take a chance on [player_tooltip player_id='209693' first='Rhys' last='Staley'] because his arm talent is absolutely great enough to succeed at the next level.
