I can’t wait to see the ones I haven’t witnessed firsthand, in person. Let’s take a quick view at who this class has to offer at running back.
Nick Woodford – RB – Northeast HS / @NicholasWoodfo4
Woodford is a very decisive runner; he does not spend much time behind the line waiting for blocks to develop or defensive players to shift. Instead, he hits a hole as soon as he gets the ball, for better or for worse. In the open field, Woodford does not chop his feet much or move laterally. He has good acceleration when turning the corner and really good top-end speed to break plays loose.
Josiah Allen Josiah Allen 5'10" | 190 lbs | RB Wheeler | 2025 State GA – RB – Wheeler HS / @yvngsiah1
Allen looked excellent on tape. He shows good burst and possesses a smooth top speed that he reaches quickly. He’s flashed some shiftiness in the open field. Allen has an attractive skill set that fits modern college offenses. Can’t wait see him perform this upcoming season.
Kevin Maven-Winchester – RB – St. Francis HS / @kevin_mw27
Maven-Winchester is a dynamic runner in short areas who easily makes bigger defenders miss with his cutting ability which is helped by a low center of gravity. Maven-Winchester possesses great acceleration, exploding out of his cuts. When bouncing runs, he is able to beat defenders to the corner using his burst.
Ousmane Kromah Ousmane Kromah 5'11" | 180 lbs | RB Lee County | 2025 State GA – RB – Lee County / @OusmaneKromah05
Kromah is a power back with the ability to break a play loose. He has great size for the running back position and uses it to his advantage when making contact with defenders, oftentimes running over smaller defensive backs and through measly arm tackles. Kromah forces defenders to put their full effort into tackling him because once he is at full speed, it is difficult to bring him down.
ZO SMALLS – RB – Savannah Christian / @zo_smalls
Smalls runs as hard as his frame allows him to, lowering his shoulder and driving his legs. His small surface area alongside his elusiveness gives defenders little chance to get a good angle on him. Smalls is creative in space and adjusts quickly to catch off-target passes underneath.
