In the process, we are going to see quarterbacks in the Natural State with the potential to rack up scholarship offers over the next few months. In today’s article we are going to take a look at several quarterbacks with the potential to have big seasons in 2023 and open plenty of eyes in the process.
Grayson Wilson Grayson Wilson 6'4" | 190 lbs | QB Central Arkansas Christian | 2025 State AR -Quarterback-Central Arkansas Christian-6’3” 185-Pounds
Grayson Wilson Grayson Wilson 6'4" | 190 lbs | QB Central Arkansas Christian | 2025 State AR is a signal caller that has a quick release. The Central Arkansas Christian quarterback throws with impressive accuracy. He is a quarterback that has good pocket awareness. Wilson knows when to extend the play and is not afraid to pick up yards on the ground. Meanwhile, he is usually looking to make the throw to his wide receivers before taking off and running with the ball. Wilson has drawn the interest of Illinois and Central Arkansas and is a prospect I expect to see put up some big numbers next season. Keep an eye on Wilson, he is just getting started.
Tyson Bradden Tyson Bradden 6'2" | 190 lbs | QB North Little Rock | 2025 State AR -Quarterback-North Little Rock-6’2” 190-Pounds
A facet of Bradden’s game that will stick out immediately is his ability to connect with his wide receivers on the deep ball. Bradden is an accurate passer that can stretch the field. He does not have any trouble extending the play and moving around in the pocket. Bradden threw 29 touchdowns as a freshman, and I expect to see that total go up next season. He is already attracting plenty of attention from Arkansas Baptist College. Bradden is another Natural State quarterback that scouts are going to want to watch out for over the next few seasons.
Jordan Walker Jordan Walker 6'1" | 205 lbs | QB Bryant | 2025 State AR -Quarterback-Bryant-6’2” 205-Pounds
The Bryant signal caller does an excellent job of being able to extend the play and buy time for himself. Walker tends to keep his eyes down the field and is looking to make the throw before running with the ball. Walker is at his most dangerous when he is scrambling out of the pocket and looking to make the throw down the field. He is a quarterback that opposing defenses must account for and use a spy to keep him in check. Walker is one of those quarterbacks that is exciting to watch and is a prospect to watch out for this season.
Owen Miller Owen Miller 6'1" | 160 lbs | QB Harding Academy | 2025 State AR -Quarterback-Harding Academy-6’1” 160-Pounds
Owen Miller Owen Miller 6'1" | 160 lbs | QB Harding Academy | 2025 State AR has the ability to pick opposing defenses apart. He is an accurate quarterback that can fit the ball into some tight windows. Miller has the arm strength needed to stretch the field deep. He is not afraid to scramble out of the pocket. Miller does an excellent job of keeping his eyes down the field to make the throw. Miller has made a habit of extending drives by using his legs to pick up first downs. The 2023 season has the potential to be another strong one for the Harding Academy quarterback.
Quentin Murphy Quentin Murphy 6'1" | 190 lbs | QB Little Rock Parkview | 2025 State AR -Quarterback-Joe T. Robinson-6’1” 190-Pounds
Quentin Murphy Quentin Murphy 6'1" | 190 lbs | QB Little Rock Parkview | 2025 State AR is one of the most explosive playmakers at the quarterback position in the class of 2025. Murphy does a terrific job of creating big plays using both his legs and arm. He makes accurate throws to all levels of the field. Murphy has the arm strength to test the opposing defense deep. From a recruiting perspective, he has already earned the attention of Arkansas, Ohio State, and Alabama to name a few. I look for Murphy to have another strong season in 2023 and continue to open plenty of eyes that scout him.
