These prospects need to hit a bunch of camps this off-season. Some have the talent to be some nice players on the next level.
Jalyn Chambers, DB, Sparkman
Chambers has a very nice film. This guy can play anywhere in the secondary. He has very good hips and natural instincts. He also has some good speed. Chambers knows how to disguise his coverage. He also does a great job playing press coverage. Chambers knows how to make nice sure tackles as well. He is just a playmaking machine. He can even help out as a return specialist. I think he is a division one prospect. I was excited I ran across his film.
Hezron Kincey, Jr, James Clemens, CB
Kincey has some very good skills at cornerback. He has some good hips that help him break on passes. He has a very good football IQ. When you watch his highlight you can see how he always makes the right choice when he catches interceptions. Kincey has some nice weight on him as well, at 185. I would love to watch and see if he gets taller. He is around 5-foot-9. If he can get to 5-foot-10 and keep that same weight, he will be trouble. Keep your ears open for his name.
Jordy Katane, DB, Lee
Katane is another nice defensive back. This guy knows how to attack the ball at its highest point. He does that well on offense. Those offensive skills helps him do the same thing on defense. He has great hands. I would love to see him become better in his press coverage. If he wants to play the nickel or corner position he needs to work on not lunging at the receivers in press coverage. He needs to use his natural ability. He can move pretty well. Katane needs to use that to his advantage.
Ramon White, CB, Huntsville
White is another big time playmaker. He plays the cornerback position with a lot of confidence. He sees the football field very well. I love how he can break from his receiver and make big plays. In the redzone he is deadly. If the football is thrown in his vicinity, he has the ability to break on it to make a play. He also knows how to make solid tackles. White is a guy I think can play on the division one level. White knows how to use his long arms to break on passes. He is a guy to keep up with.
