[player_tooltip player_id='282392' first='Eric' last='Moore Jr']. | 2024 LB | Ocean Springs

Eric Moore out of Ocean Springs epitomizes what an Under the Radar prospect is. The combo of coachability, hard work, and natural talent assist Moore in finding himself in position to make plays on a consistent basis. The 6'2 210 pound Linebacker is a student of the game, and it shows on his tape. He is coming off an impressive 100+ tackle Junior season, and I think he's just getting started. Eric's anticipatory instincts are off the charts on tape. Moore was able to take his Junior campaign and parlay that into a decent beginning to this off-season. He has expressed, via twitter, that he's receiving interest from Mississippi State, Southern Miss, South Alabama, UAB, and Mississippi Gulf Coast. Later on this month Eric will be at Mississippi State's Junior Day and also attending the Southern Elite Fall Brawl Showcase in Hattiesburg. Moore is an impressive off-season away from gaining offers from programs that are already showing interest. This summer is where I would like to see that happen for Moore. This type of summer will make an impactful change in his already impressive on field play.

[player_tooltip player_id='123210' first='Dequadrion' last='Welch'] | 2024 WR | Noxubee County

Mr. Welch is a shifty, underrated slot receiver that has a very important off-season and summer approaching. He is an exceptional route-runner that understands spacing and how to get open in a hurry. Once he uses his skillset to carve through the defensive secondary, the real show starts. Dequadrion has always impressed me with his ability to get in and out of his cuts when outrunning defenders, but his straight line speed is even more impressive. With [player_tooltip player_id='108999' first='Anthony' last='Little'] headed to the next level to further his playing career, I see Welch taking on a heavier load for Noxubee county this coming fall. Welch has caught the attention of a few programs following his Junior campaign. Earlier this week he announced that he'd been offered by Itawamba CC. Dequadrion will also be in attendance at Mississippi State's Junior Day. With 7on7 season starting soon and camp season around the corner, expect this sleeper prospect to receive more attention in the months to come.

Torrance Skidmore | 2024 ATH | West Harrison

Torrance Skidmore is a two sport athlete out of West Harrison that has all the makings of an exemplary collegiate Safety. Last year he played on both sides of the ball, but I can see him excelling right away on the defensive side of the ball. Torrance has the build, athleticism, and ball-skills that translate to the next level. His 4.5 40 and rangy build only aid his 6'2 nearly 200 pound frame make plays in the secondary. Last week Skidmore received an invite to Rice University's Junior day, but I'm unsure if he will attend. He will be at attending Mississippi State's Junior on the 28th of this month; starting an imperative off-season for the upcoming senior. Last fall was eventful for Torrance as well. He received and accepted game invites from Mississippi State, Louisiana Lafayette, and Southern Miss. I'm eager to see what camps Skidmore plans to attend this summer; it will be pivotal to his recruitment that he gets his talents displayed in front of the right set of eyes. Expect more new from Torrance Skidmore in the coming months.

Joshua Davis | 2024 DL/OL | Adams Co. Christian

Joshua Davis is another absolute UNIT out of Adams County Christian. The 6'3 300+ pound Junior showed flashes of greatness on last year's tape. He plays with great leverage at the point of attack for his size. Joshua also has head-snapping abilities that are not to shabby. Davis is a defensive tackle that will demand a double team several points throughout the course of a game, guaranteed. I would like to see him become more efficient in quickly shedding blocks to make tackles. This ties into another thing I would like to see improved, his footwork and quickness. If Joshua Davis can focus on those things in the off-season, he will become an absolute problem come this fall. I can see that he has been putting in the work so far to do just that. Davis accepted game invites from South Alabama, Louisiana Lafayette, Nichols State, and Alcorn in his Junior year. I'm looking forward to those same programs offering him later this fall!

Kenyar Hurt | 2024 DB | Leflore County

Kenyar Hurt is a physical, slim framed Defensive Back out of Leflore County that has potential. Hurt is staring down the barrel of a pivotal off-season following his Junior year. He was able to put some good things on tape last year, but not quite enough to earn him the offers from surrounding programs. Kenyar is slim, but he has a decent frame will fill out nicely once he is on the next level. What stood out to me from viewing K.Hurt's tape was the willingness that he showed to be true defender and come up to tackle. His technique is not to shabby, and he has a nose for the football. The Junior found ways to create turnovers last year for his defense as the season went on. Hurt will be attending Mississippi State's Junior Day on the 28th of this month. He also was invited to the Southern Elite Fall Brawl Showcase later on this month. With opportunities to make a lasting impression on recruiters, surely Kenyar's stock will continue to rise.
