Brackin Ward
Brackin Ward
Ward is a solidly put together linebacker, strong in the lower half to anchor against oncoming lineman and powerful enough in his top half to strike with force. Reads and reacts quickly enabling him to get to the football in a fast way. Finishes on contact where many other stop their feet, Ward run his feet through tackles and has a knack for getting bigger players down quickly. Has a quick trigger step that allows him to take good angles and beat blockers on their path. Shows an innate toughness to play every snap with high energy and is a menace all over the field. Improving in his coverage ability and shows that he can run in space as he continues to improve he will be able to match up more effectively against tight ends and running backs. Shows the ability to compete at the NAIA, D3 and D2 levels right now and should be on college radars.
Dakoda Heller
Dakoda Heller
Heller put up some really nice numbers this year for the Badgers and shows that he can really be an impact player coming into his senior season. Heller does a good job of playing in space, and has the ability to really play sideline to sideline. A plus athlete that is also able to play on the offensive side of the football, Heller was a shining star for the Badgers as a junior. Has a quick twitch about him that allows him to slip blockers and make tackles in the back field. Takes good angles and is able to meet running backs at the line of scrimmage along with running them down on anything that bounces to the outside. Strong lower half that delivers crushing hits and knows how to instinctively get offensive players to the ground. Improving in his covering ability but show immense upside in his ability to run with different offensive weapons on the perimeter. Shows the ability to compete at the NAIA, D3 and D2 levels right now and should be on college radars.
Landon Reynolds
Landon Reynolds
Reynolds is a long athlete with a great motor. It is something that you just can’t teach, the ability to play with maximum effort every snap. Reynolds led the way when it came to sacks for the Spartans. His ability to get to the quarterback is what makes him such an intriguing prospect. Has a quick first step that allows him to defeat pass setting offensive lineman and a strong club-rip move that allows him to get hands off of him. Strong at the point of attack with the ability to stalemate offensive lineman then shed to make tackles in the backfield. As he grows he will get better and better at anchoring his lower half in order to be able to eat up double teams and be a force in the run game. Shows the ability to compete at the NAIA, D3 and D2 levels right now and should be on college radars.
Rhett Lloyd
Rhett Lloyd
Lloyd has the ability to become a legit ball hawk in the back end of the defense. Shows flashes of lock down ability with a smooth back pedal and quick feet. Can line up in press or off man to man coverage with the ability to mirror wide receivers. Is improving in his transitions whether it is out of his back pedal or a hip switch on deeper routes. If everything lines up when he does break on the football he can take it the other way in a hurry. A solid open field tackler who bring force behind his pads and is not afraid to go up against bigger running backs. Shows the ability to compete at the NAIA, D3 and D2 levels right now and should be on college radars.
