The Rogers Rams head coach Jerry Davis wanted to see his team compete all season long, and that’s what the coach wanted his team to do in year one. The record does show the resolve that this team put on display but going 2-8 on the season doesn’t sit well with most of the returning group. I talked to coach Davis in December at the Scott vs. Rogers basketball game; he feels confident about the youth in his program heading into 2023.
The class of 2023 will be missed in the rams program leaving big shoes to fill behind Dayne Thompson and Shon’dell Gibson. With only losing six seniors this year, Rogers has a lot of youth with varsity experience that will look to see the turnaround that the program is projecting to have this coming fall.
