Continue ReadingThe Greenwood Bulldogs are going to have plenty of talented linebackers next season. Beginning with Kaleb Garner a 510, 195 pound Senior to be who this season had 86 tackles and 15 tackles for losses. Kaleb has 4.75 speed in the 40 yard dash.
He has a 4.0 GPA and scored a 27 on his ACT Test. Kaleb says his strengths are his football IQ, pass rush and his ability to read the plays. His individual goals are to win a State Championship, lead the state in tackles and make All State. Kaleb says he feels that he can bring play recognition.
He feels that in college he will play hybrid safety. Kaleb defines his ability as a linebacker with his aggressiveness, ability to avoid blocks and hard hitting. He bench presses 250 pounds and squats 445 pounds. He is still in the planning stages now of what camps that he will attend next summer. Kaleb says that his father inspires him to be the player that he is today. As far as a certain player that he looks up to is former Greenwood Bulldog and University of Arkansas Razorback Grant Morgan.
He feels that his football IQ and play calling on defense will help him with leadership on the team. What Kaleb loves most about playing football is the chemistry among his teammates and loving to hit. He feels that next season he will be an inside linebacker. I feel that Kaleb has the intensity and the want to get to the next level college football.

He feels what separates him from other linebackers in the state is his playing with all gas and no breaks and his ability to keep his team engaged as one of the leaders on the defense. Eli loves the team camaraderie while also getting wins and the love of hitting people on the football field.
Eli says Jesus Christ inspires him to be the player that he is today. He also says that the person that inspires him on the team is Head Coach Chris Young.
