Don’t let Copeland’s size fool you, he makes a significant impact on the football field in a variety of ways. He has very little tape, however, the clips that he does have , markets himself as a do-it-all threat with the ball in his hands.
I came away impressed with him as a wide receiver. He showed the ability to get open on underneath routes with great short-area quickness. In addition, can get open on deep routes and shows the ability to be able to track the ball in the air. Therefore, I’m not going to overreact to scrimmage highlights, however, you do have to be encouraged about where his development and trajectory are going.
Pasols is a young man I had the pleasure of watching a number of times. Pasols is another player that can make things happen with the ball in his hands. However, where differs from Copeland, he has a lot more speed that is evident on tape. In addition, two abilities that stick out for Pasols, are his ability to catch in traffic and his ability to get open deep.
I would like to see Pasols be more than a one-trick pony and ONLY have highlights of him getting open deep. I want to see more highlights of him getting open in the short and intermediate areas of the field.
Highlights
Tirado has made a significant mark on special teams and has some impressive plays in that phase. I’m encouraged by the way he moves on defense, specifically, how he moves in short areas and some of his physical attributes. Tirado has solid length, which leads to me believe he can be an inside-outside corner. In addition, he pursues the ball well and has explosive movement ability. Im anxious to see how Tirado develops.
Tom’s River North may have their quarterback of the future with Valerio’s high-end traits. Traits are what translates, and Valerio has the size, and movement ability it takes to be an elite quarterback prospect.
Valerio has many highlights of him making plays while on the move. He does well in situations where he has to use play action, it’s encouraging to see how he quickly gets to his first read and plays with rhythm and tempo. His play out of structure has to be a welcomed sight, he still needs to get bigger and add more strength to drive the football. In addition, his accuracy while not on the run needs work also, but he can currently offset that with his work as a runner.
He has quick twitch movement with the ball in his hands and can consistently make defensive players miss. Valerio’s skillset as a quarterback is rare and as his game develops I believe the Division offers will begin to roll in.
